A day late….
His birthday often gets overlooked because we are in the event business… and for whatever reason it happens to ALWAYS fall on the busiest of days.
Yesterday it happened again.. the hustle and bustle of a complex event day between and and his birthday came and went without much thought of it.
Happy birthday to my man, by business partner and my best friend. , the most special dad, grandpa, and employer, and friend… because if he’s any of these to you, you know he’s one of a kind.

Setting up shop in Italy and teaming up with to execute two beautiful weddings in Tuscany, over the course of 10 days was a summer highlight! There were long days in our pop up flower studio, but we also squeezed in some fun under the Tuscan sun! These were memories for a life time and we are thankful and blessed to have experienced such an opportunity! Will be featuring these beautiful weddings soon!

Mothers Day can evoke so many different emotions for people… and although I am blessed to be a Momma and have been the recipient of a mothers love… even more then one mother.. every body’s story is different…
this morning in church I appreciated this prayer in a special way…
“Heavenly Father…
It because of your plan for creation that all of us have mothers. Whatever our mothers may have been like, we thank you that our mothers carried us in the womb and bore us safely into this world.
We thank you that many of us have had faithful mothers: mothers who read your Word to us and prayed for us; mothers who counselled us with wisdom; mothers who were gentle and kind with us; mothers who trained us up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Thank you for these godly women in our lives. We pray that we would honour such women.
For those who find Mother’s Day hard, we pray that you would give them eyes of faith to see how you used their mothers in their lives despite their weaknesses, sins, and shortcomings. We pray that you would comfort those who miss their mothers because they are no longer here.
We also pray for those who long to be mothers, but that door has not opened yet. Also we pray for those who are mothers among us. Whether they are raising young children or empty nesters, we pray that you would give them wisdom to know how best to honour you in their season of life. We pray that you would grant them the desires of their hearts, that you would create new marriages, new families, and new children who are also made in your image and redeem them, so that this world would be filled with people who live to the praise of your glory.
