Elizabeth Margaret Clingen
Another sweet grand daughter to love.
Her beautiful name so thoughtfully chosen.
On the morning of her arrival we received this most wonderful announcement and it is worth sharing:
The last slide a photo of her namesake.
“Good morning family! We are so excited to announce the safe arrival of Elizabeth Margaret Clingen, “Ella” for short.
Elizabeth after the mother of John the Baptist, and Margaret after Grandma. Two remarkable women of God, two women whose testimonies speak to the faithfulness of God in seasons of waiting, but two women whose lives ultimately point past themselves to the greatest promise of the salvation and life available in Christ. In the story of John the Baptist in Luke 1, it ends with Zechariah’s prophecy:
“because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”” Luke 1:78-79

We praise God for Ella’s safe arrival, she is an answer to many prayers. We pray that Ella will grow to love and serve the same Saviour as her names sakes.”

…and may it be so all for the glory of God.

While we are so thankful for all the intentional prayers for Victoria and Josiah and for precious ‘Ella’ and celebrate her arrival, our hearts are tender toward those that may find posts like these painful. David and I are mindful of those, both our friends, and those unknown to us, who have experienced the loss of a child and also those who are in seasons of ‘waiting and wanting’. May God comfort you and bless you:
