A wonderful sun/cloud day for Unju and Aaron’s wedding. Keys and Strings played beautifully for the ceremony and then for cocktail hour guests enjoyed excellent music from The Charlie Webb trio. The bride and groom danced on the walkway by the pond but I missed getting a shot of it unfortunately. Other guests also danced, it was so nice!

Here are some photos of our new woodland ceremony area. Still need to add the Edison bulb string lights and the twig arbour with fairy lights but is already a lovely space.

Working hard on our new woodland ceremony location and very excited to share with you the progress we have made in the last week. Here is the before and after of the vows and signing table area. There is lots more to come in the next few days. The entire area is being covered with dark brown mulch on top of the gravel base to replicate the forest floor. Benches are next! Hope you like it🙂

Here’s what we got done today. It will make more sense once we add the mulch which will be the last thing we do. The three trees you see with the gravel in between is where you will exchange your vows. Wedding party will stand to left and right of the front two trees. Pathway will be gravel and wood benches (10 on each side) should hold 6-8 people but hard to know exactly until it’s finished as we may have to shorten some to fit between trees. We removed the least amount possible. It’s so gorgeous down there looking up at these enormous trees. Mostly maple so it will be stunning in the fall but equally pretty now. (Can you tell I’m excited🙂)Dark brown mulch will be added to keep the forest feel and a twig arbor will be at the entrance to the space with fairy lights on it. I’m wondering what everyone thinks about where the signing table should go - I’m thinking either behind where you will stand to exchange vows between the three trees or off to the right. Let me know what you think!

Setup today for Tom and Tasmine’s reception
Beautiful setup today, simple but so elegant. Cheesecloth runners, greenery, pillar candles in glass, and individual bud vases with white flowers. Florals @astilbefloralboutique - so pretty. Lights and greenery along the fence at the back of the tent create great contrast to all of the white. A classic combination.
This was so cool. Drummers led the bride Kameel to the ceremony. What a perfect day!
