Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. I took a much needed pause over the holidays and it’s this time of year I like to scroll back to the weddings of the year prior to look at pretty blooms. I take them for granted in the moment, but with the grey and snowy weather now outside it’s a welcome sight.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to for the amazing branding shots she captured for me. From last minute date changes to helping me choose outfits, she was an absolute gem to work with and I appreciate her so much!
It seemed fitting to take these shots for my next venture as .realtor at the Halifax Public Library in the same room where I had setup the florals for several stunning weddings in the past.
Thank you as well to everyone for the overwhelming flood of support I have received over the past few days. It means so much to have your backing and encouragement.

Today is the day! I'm super excited to announce some changes on my end. Have a listen to learn about all the details. Or, if you don't have time to listen to me ramble, here are the cole notes:
1. I am now a licensed REALTOR® with EXIT Realty Metro! I'm so excited to continue to meet and help people in this new capacity.
2. I will still be doing weddings (because I love what I do!), but moving forward I will be prioritizing the use of locally and organically grown flowers, as well as eco-conscious and sustainable materials and methods.
Why the change?
Over the past 5 years of my business, I've discovered that I love meeting new people and helping them with their special day and I have been looking for new ways to continue this kind of relationship. For the past two years, I have also had unexplainable allergic reactions that I believe are connected to the chemicals sprayed on the flowers. For the sake of my health long-term, I decided I need to make the switch. I'm so excited for this opportunity. I've always been interested in real estate and have wanted to reduce the carbon footprint of my business for a few years now. I see this as the push I needed!
When?
If you have a wedding on the books with me, don't worry - this changes nothing about your florals. This is just a change moving forward. Of course, if you are inspired and would like to learn more about switching to locally grown flowers for your big day, I would be thrilled to tell you more.
