Vicky's Workshops did a presentation of her beautiful bags at the Barrie Kempenfelt Quilters Guild and everyone loved it. I am looking forward to taking some workshops with her. Anyone interested in doing that with me sometime this summer?

Although it was crappy weather this group of vibrant ladies made the best of it. They enjoyed campfires, going to screaming heads, sleeping in and having multiple cups of relaxing morning teas!

The girlfriend cottage was made into a quilting retreat again for this new group of ladies, who accomplished so many beautiful quilts! I enjoyed getting to know them and look forward to seeing them again next year.

KC and her tribe were here again, and had another fabulous weekend. These girls ooze fun and make me laugh all the time. Can’t wait to see you all again next year

The Quirky Quilters from Sudbury were here for what I believe was their 16 th visit, Wow! I love hanging with all of these gals, they provide me with such inspiration, quilting tops and they have extensive knowledge on quilting and travelling! It was a quick week, and it’s funny how the weeks get quicker each time.
Looking forward to seeing you again in September.

The thread catcher sewing group had a fabulous time together. They all worked on the same bag project and two of them brought their snazzy jackets to show me!! They enjoyed some new spicy garlic bread, and lots of other foods. It was so good seeing you all again, looking forward to next year.

The old sew and sew gals were here again and created some beautiful quilts! It’s always fun sewing with you gals and I look forward to seeing a few of you in the fall

The scrapbook girls came on a snowy Thursday, our Bay was still pretty frozen. Friday it melted around the island. Sun came out and was beautiful and more unthawed on Sat and Sunday. Good things the ladies made some tshirts, cause they needed them to go home on Monday.
That was having almost 4 seasons in 4 days!

There’s always a first time, and to my surprise, these ladies were up, dressed in funky hats, making t shirts when I arrived with breakfast! So fun!!!!!
Sadly I never got a group picture of them wearing the shirts.

First time these gals made the trek south from Sudbury for a getaway! They started it all off with a very interesting cake and it all went from there! Needless to say they had a great time and booked for next year! Sat night was a bling dinner with everyone decked out in awesome sequinned slippers and glitter tops.

First time having an instructor come and first time planning a retreat with everyone not knowing each other. It was a great group, we had so much fun, a few curse words but overall we all made beautiful fabulous bags!

The Thread Catchers came and they always have a small group project, this year it was cathedral window, so beautiful. They also accomplished so many quilts. They even fit in an afternoon of learning to make napkin cards which is my newest obesssion.

It was so fun spend a week with these accomplished quilters. It felt like they just got here and already they were packing up and leaving. They got lots of beautiful quilts made, enjoyed some dock time and early morning coffees! Looking forward to seeing you all in the spring already!

Friends starting their day, with sunshine and mimosa’s! Although, the weather was sometimes rainy this past week, these gals managed to squeeze in lots of dock time, laughter, chatter and a little shopping therapy.

It’s a great week, when you can get together with your friends and do what you love. This group of fabulous painters enjoyed spending time indoors painting, the sun on the dock, a few kayak rides and lots of great food!
