Trivia at Nepean Sailing Club is CANCELLED for January 15th due to inclement weather and recommendation to stay off the roads.

Apologies for the inconvenience. The Quizmaster is always right, but he can't control the weather.

Hey-o! Only 14 more sleeps till trivia starts up again at Nepean Sailing Club!

Every Thursday starting November 6 (runs through to end of April.)
7pm start. No entrance fee. No reservations.
Members and non-members alike are welcome.
Prizes available, so bring your A game.

Bring a team, or come alone and let us know & we will try to throw you in with an existing squad.

Galley and bar are operational, so consider coming early for dinner!

Tonight we wrap up our best ever winter trivia season at Nepean Sailing Club . Note that we WILL ALSO be showing the Senators / Leafs game on the big screen, so no excuses not to come out!

Prizes will be awarded for the night as well as to series winners over the last two months.

A follow up to our last post.

We will have (best efforts and God willing) the Four Nations Cup game on the projector tomorrow evening at Nepean Sailing Club .

We will broadcast from 8 pm (with no sound). You can watch while we trivia. If you don't have an interest in the game, there are plenty of chairs that face the other way. We have everyone covered!

If you are thinking of skipping trivia tomorrow night at Nepean Sailing Club to stay home and watch the Four Nations hockey game, please don't. Quizmaster Stephen encourages you to come to trivia like you usually do.

Trivia starts at 7pm, and we plan to keep the pace up and have it finish by 9pm. The hockey game starts shortly after 8pm, so the hockey will barely be into the second period as trivia ends.

From there you have two options. You can hang around the club to watch the end of the game. Or, you can easily plan ahead to record the first part of the hockey game and be back at your home TV by 9:30 to catch up on the highlights, or skip through the entire game and watch the third period in the comfort of your own home.

Don't spoil a good night of trivia when you can have the best of both worlds.

We are ON for tonight at Nepean Sailing Club for trivia tonight (Feb 13). The galley and bar will be in full operation and we have some great trivia rounds for this week.

If your teammates told you that everything is shut down, give them a loving slap upside the head and tell them to show up. We are going have fun!

Following a large snowstorm in the Ottawa area, we have had enquiries about Trivia tonight at Nepean Sailing Club . So far, we are planning to go ahead with trivia.

Slow is continuing lightly and the forecast is for it to continue until early afternoon. We are in discussion with the club management and expect to make a call on this before 1pm on Thursday. I will update here when that happens.

Until then, we are still on.

A reminder that we are starting earlier this year than in past years. Trivia starts at 7:00 pm. Please organize your straggler teammates accordingly.

Folks, a reminder that trivia season starts up again tomorrow (Thursday Nov 7) at Nepean Sailing Club

PLEASE NOTE that we have implemented a new start time this season!! Trivia starts at 7:00 pm (1/2 hour earlier than other years). This should get you home a little earlier at the end of the evening.

Please organize your straggler teammates accordingly. See you tomorrow!
