Wedding Tip * if you plan on having candles at your wedding, make sure to pay attention to their burn times. Keep in mind that your planner or venue staff will be lighting candles before guests enter the space and they should last until the guests are ready to leave that space. This will give you that romantic candle lit reception all night long!

Britt Geurts is currently studying the Public Relations Program at Mount Saint Vincent University and is in her second year! She is originally from the Netherlands however lived in P.E.I. with her family and moved to Halifax last fall to start her schooling! She loves being organized, hanging out with friends, meeting new people, exploring Halifax and shopping! She can’t wait to get started and get to know everyone involved in the wedding industry!

Now this is a reaction we love to see 💕After a couple years of planning and anticipation, L&C finally had their dream wedding this past Fall. Their expressions say it all: awe, happiness, love, and pure amazement.

You have probably heard me say this before, but this is one of my favourite moments on a wedding day (I have a lot of favourite moments 😂). During all the hustle and bustle of a wedding day, if time allows, we love to take a moment for a reception reveal once all the candles are lit, just before we invite your guests in, so you can take it all in 💕💕

Pro Tip: Before purchasing your candles, don't forget to check with your venue to make sure they are allowed in the space. Some venues allow candles without restrictions, some allow real real flames if they are enclosed, while others don't allow real flames at all!

An engagement shoot is a pre-wedding photoshoot done before your nuptials. They’re typically an hour in length and can take place anywhere from the beach, a park, the middle of a grassy field or even inside your own home.
