Fresh Cuts Market joins Dine Alfresco South Shore Event
With our Dine Alfresco South Shore Event just over a week away, we decided to speak with some of our sponsors and partners.
Today we chatted with owner Andrew Langille of Fresh Cuts Market as they are so graciously providing some of the food for our fine dinning experience over the LaHave River.
Hear why Fresh Cuts Market decided to be apart of this one-of a kind event.

What do you do when you walk into a room and you have a huge, I mean huge wall of windows overlooking a curling rink? Well, you add lots and lots of drapery! We turned Marla and Richard’s curling club venue into a fine dining experience, offering a mix of round and regular banquet tables. Adding gold Chiavari chairs from MacFarlands Events really took the overall look to the next level. And I mean all that greenery 😊 So happy Marla wanted to stick with sage and gold tones. 2024 has been predicated to be all about love and celebration. We have been seeing just that with tends of bold colours and décor elements, more non-traditional timelines, out of the box accents, predetermined dress codes, and more private moments between the guests of honour. Here are 8 trends we are excited to incorporate into our wedding this season!
1. Disco Balls – Ok we know what you’re thinking, high school dance right? Wrong! Gone are the days of having one ball simply suspend from the ceiling. We are seeing them worked into all aspects of our wedding décor – table decor, arbour details, grouped ceiling features, drinks and bar details. They’re just so sparkly, they take the party look up a notch!
2. Private Vow Exchange – Nervous to have all those eyes on you while declaring your love to your love? We are seeing more and more newlyweds choose to say their vows to one another privately prior to their ceremony. While your guests may miss out on those heartfelt and personal moments, traditional vows are still being exchanged during the ceremony for all to hear.
3. Colour Blocking Flowers – Lighter flower tones will always be in, there is just something stunning with an all-white wedding. But if we really want to celebrate there is nothing louder to do then to throw in colour. Flower colour blocking is solving this problem perfectly. Whether it’s found on tables with bouquets that are designed to match each bridesmaid’s dress colour. We’re in love with how eclectic and playful this trend is.
4. Champagne towers – A comeback from the past, champagne towers are now a must-have for most couples. Bring a picture perfect moment to toast the happy couple after they have sealed their union, it’s also another great way to offer a celebratory drink to all of your guests.
5. Restaurant Receptions – Perfect for the foodie wanting a smaller intimate gathering, choose your favourite restaurant for your big day. Some are able
More times than not, big ideas come to Shanna while meeting over coffee.
A long time vision, mixed with team effort and David’s new-to-us talent resulted in an incredible outcome!
Plus, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy the beach 😉
Here’s a peek at what we were up to the end of November.

We are currently working on a rentals section of our website, but for now the best place to go for our full rental collection would be our Rentals album on our page. If you need any help or have any questions feel free to reach out via our website. Detailseventstudio.com
