It’s my Birthday!! Sharing more of these because it’s the only recent photos I have of me.. more coming super soon from a fall session we had and future branding session in the works but alas, photos with my beautiful children will do just fine! 34 years old and I’ve been able to do so much with my time on earth so far. Traveling, working my dream job, building a family and home. Life is full and I’m so grateful.

Oh and I exported a wedding today so that’s a Birthday gift to me from me. (Also the matching sweatsuit I bought from Aritzia 🤫) here’s to the next year of making more beautiful memories! 🥂

I think it’s time I post the face behind - my very own Joanna Gaines/Jillian Harris friend Amanada Kenney! Known mostly for her beautiful home decor store in Branford .yourstory Amanda has an incredible talent and eye for all things design including her home (yes she lives here!) and her house has been featured in magazines all over the world! I’m grateful to call her friend as well as partner. She loves to meet people and see the creative process happening at her place & I’m so grateful my husband did all that shopping at her store so we could be connected. 🤣

I’ve been wanting to post this for a while and today seems like the perfect time to do so!

Sometimes having three kiddos makes me feel like people will be less likely to hire me - kids require a lot (Shocking! I know!) This week all three of my kids were sick. No school, no preschool, no rest for any of us. Work (editing) was sparse and it was out of my control. But here’s the thing, I believe having children actually makes me be a better photographer. When I’m shooting a wedding I not only see your moments but I can see my kids future moments. When your family sessions feels like absolute CHAOS - I can assure you mine feel that way too. You don’t need to feel bad - you don’t need to stress. We can work our magic (as we have to do EVERY day we are parenting).

So while the days of endless editing are behind me I hope the gains are reflected in my work. I love kids, I love my kids (and I’m obsessed with newborns 😍) and this just makes me want to create and capture all your moments the way I would want them captured.
