Touching Lake Louise Wedding
Tina and Yi's outdoor wedding at beautiful Lake Louise took place on one of the hottest days of the year. The weather brought the crowds, but we still managed to capture some beautiful, intimate moments. Tina and Yi both looked amazing in their wedding attire, and as always the amazing scenery of Lake Louise did not disappoint.

A few years back, one of our brides reached out to ask if we'd be able to provide the audio from part of her father's speech. Sadly, he'd passed away recently, and they wanted to play it at his celebration of life. It was a poem he regularly recited at family gatherings, but they had no other copy. We were happy to provide it. Highlight films get a lot of the attention, but when it comes to capturing and reliving the sights and sounds from a wedding day, nothing beats a full-length film.
Reception Films may include the grand entrance, wedding party intros, speeches, cake cutting, games, tosses, first dance, and parent dances.. They are full edited, and are usually filmed with multiple cameras and audio recorded via careful placement of microphones for optimal sound.

It seems like every videographer uses different terms to describe the kinds of videos they make, which can be confusing. For most, a wedding feature film is a form of longer-running 10-20 minute highlight film. The feature film tells a story that has more depth and leaves less out. They are still great for sharing online.
It seems like every wedding videographer uses different names for the types of wedding films they offer. It can be confusing trying to understand what it all means! So we'll try to explain common terms used for types of wedding videos.
The one you probably see most often is the "Wedding Highlight Film." Basically, these are short videos that are set to music and showcase the best moments from the wedding day. They come in a variety of styles. Some only include visuals and music. Others also use select audio from the vows and/or speeches and tell a story.
So why would you want a Wedding Highlight Film? For sharing. Attention spans are short these days, and not many people will sit through a long wedding video. A well-structured Wedding Highlight Film is entertaining and hits all the right emotional notes. They're fun to watch and you can share your wedding experience with more people.

Anisa & Elijah | Moraine Lake Elopement
It's funny how a chance meeting in a library parking lot can turn into a relationship for life. Anisa and Elijah started talking and it didn't take long to realize that there was something special between them. They share a love of adventure and impromptu dancing. The gorgeous scenery of Moraine Lake and the Canadian Rockies drew them west for their intimate mountain wedding. Any day at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise is a great day, but even with the incredible views it was the sheer joy on their faces when they saw each other for the first time and their hilarious little dances that stole our hearts... #mountainelopement #banffweddingvideo #morainelake

Devyn & Jessie-Lynn | Calgary Wedding Video
Devyn is famous in his family for what they call his "Devynisms," quirky questions and silly moments. But this seemed to endear him even more to Jessie-Lynn, who fully embraced his wedding planning contribution of Batman themed bridal t-shirts, a Camaro "getaway car" and the Bat-Cake.
