Gathering together with our family to create memories and traditions to be passed through the future generations. Good food is what really helps create these fond memories. When it comes to making great food, no shortcuts can ever be taken. You have to control the quality of everything that goes on the table. Born on the islands, Mary Coronel was fortunate enough to have grown up in a family with
these great traditions. A secret barbecue recipe has been passed down from generation to generation and Mary took it upon herself to perfect this recipe to use at her family gatherings and celebrations. One day while preparing some food for some family and friends, Mary then used her recipe on some pork and chicken. To her delight, they were a hit with everyone. Little did she know that this was the beginning of the Liko's Hawaiian Barbecue business. With her husband Rico Tan, the couple realized that not only did they have to share this wonderful food with their ohana, but with everyone else too. The couple started off small, just selling barbecue skewers at street festivals and catering special events. Liko's is slowly expanding their menu with the future goal of having their own quick service restaurant. Can't make it out to any of our upcoming events? Loco moco is a dish featured in contemporary Hawaii cuisine.
Our loco moco consists of white rice, topped with a hamburger patty and brown gravy, and finally a sunny-side up fried egg. We're bringing these to AlohaFest Toronto on Saturday from 11-7pm.

In Hawaii, "ahi" is commonly known as the yellowfin tuna.
We'll be serving our local style ahi poke bowls (shoyu or spicy) this Saturday at AlohaFest Toronto from 11-7pm.

Since it looks like this warm weather will be staying with us through to the weekend, we'll be bringing our Hawaiian Shave Ice bar to Woofstock this weekend.
Pineapple, strawberry, blue raspberry and mango flavours topped off with a snowcap make a great way to cooldown!

Come celebrate the start of spring with our local maple syrup producers, businesses, handmade makers, food trucks, musicians, and community groups. Four city blocks become a pedestrian zone so that you can stroll along and enjoy the event. With over 250 participants there’s something for everyone!
Take the stress away from finding a parking spot and use our FREE shuttle service instead! Park for free at Clarington Fields 2375 Baseline Rd (soccer facility) just north of Hwy 401 and hop on a shuttle bus leaving approximately every 15 minutes and get dropped off right in the action. When you’re done, jump on a return shuttle. No hassle. No stress. Just fun! (Note: shuttles are not accessible, accessible parking is available in Municipal lots and on Church Street)
