2023 has been wonderful. We worked in many different spaces and locations around Nova Scotia. Some exciting new vendors and venues and lots of trusted and key partners helped us show off all the things that make this province a great destination.

May we continue to grow and help other local businesses gain momentum too. When we share prosperity it’s so much sweeter.

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a site visit at Peggy’s Cove. It’s really looking great out there and we have lots of special excursions planned for 2024!

Yesterday was also a very good day to mark the first week with our new Event Manager, Terri. We are just thrilled to have her, and we feel very lucky she found us.

We had the best time working with Dean Leland and his wonderful team at Oceanstone to help them launch their stunning new hydrothermal spa.

It’s in a setting only Nova Scotia can offer and we think it’s just ideal.

Old news but still good news.

A few weeks ago we won Best Event in Atlantic Canada for the work we did for on Mod Market, Party in a Moonlit Park, and A Fortified Kitchen Party.

We’ve won international and national awards in 2023 and this particular award is extra special because it comes from our community.

We share it with the 1000 people who worked hard to make Halifax shine bright and knock these events out of the (Moonlit) Park.

Two wonderful things arrived in Nova Scotia today.

First, and most importantly, much needed and widely prayed for rain from Mother Nature.

And these awards from in America.

Thank you to our firefighters, first responders, and community supporters; so much has happened in our province this past week and we’d be no-where without their bravery, and generosity.

Thanks too, to the FREE PEOPLE team, our client and our partners and suppliers, without which, we would cease to be.

Last week FREE PEOPLE took home the coveted “Best Corporate Event” at the Canadian Event Awards in Toronto. Our Party in a Moonlit Park for Deloitte Canada was the winning event.

FREE PEOPLE was the only Atlantic Canadian company represented, so we made sure to give a big shout out to our team, our partners and suppliers, our city and province.

We can do really great things in Atlantic Canada, and we are so happy to be part of a community that works hard and works together to make sure we show anyone who chooses to hold their event in our backyard goes away knowing they made the very best choice.
