2024 Vision Board Event ✨ Guest speaker , used her story to remind young black women to dream big, and work hard even in spaces where we often go unnoticed.
Johise, an Oxford graduate who interned at the United Nations & worked at the Center of Canadian Politics in Ottawa underscored the power of creating visions & goal-setting.
Here’s some key takeaways:
| 1 Dream Big: Your vision should scare you a little and excite you a lot! Aim for the stars; you might just land on the moon.
2 Plan & Execute: Break down those big goals into smaller, doable steps. Little wins lead to big victories!
3 Keep your Community Close: It’s not about if you’ll face setbacks, but when. Learn to lean on your community. They’ll encourage and inspire you to keep pushing!
