SOO 200 VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Ontario and area friends! We're ready to sign up volunteers for the SOO 200. We want to provide a great experience for everyone, and that includes volunteers. Check out the link below for the location options.

Every year, we come up with exclusive volunteer swag, and SOO 200 volunteers will be getting the cozy fleece blankets shown here, as well as bug nets and tick cards (just in case). Everyone who is volunteering out on the course also gets a $25 gas card. Come and join us!

We are just a couple of weeks away from the Sinister 7 Ultra Training camp! Get time on the course with veteran Sinners. This camp is open to everyone, but the focus is on distance, so hopefully y'all have some KM under your feet.

June 6-8
• See key parts of the racecourse
• Sit-down sessions to talk sports nutrition, the mental game, downhill running, race logistics, what your crew should know, gear....and more
• Aid station food and water
• Food and beverages provided after Friday and Saturday run sessions, plus custom swag

Our Story

Sinister Sports has hosted world-class endurance events throughout Alberta and British Columbia for nearly 20 years. Our promise is that we will always challenge you and offer the best organized events for our athletes. We want you to know the Rocky Mountains the way we see them. Bold, grand, and beautiful, but gritty and daunting. Our flagship race, Sinister 7 Ultra is a 100-mile run that takes you through the southern Alberta Rockies around Crowsnest Pass. The Canadian Death Race is new to our lineup and we are excited to be the hosts of this prestigious, iconic ultra that takes racers across the wilds around Grande Cache, Alberta. Black Spur Ultra offers 54k and 108k distances on a course that is all trails with big climbs and superb scenery. We only host events that will challenge you to the core; not for the weak of spirit!
