Still looking for places to hang delphinium blooms 😍
I’ve left plenty of blooms on the plant so that they go to seed, they just keep coming!
This summer I made time for a little renovation in my bathroom! I’ve never had a proper vanity, more of a wash stand with vessel sink. For the first time in my life I have bathroom drawers (that shelf though- to make the alcove work with a bigger vanity- was a whole day of figuring 😆)

It’s a beautiful day to turn 14! Happy Birthday to my baby girl 🌺
She keeps us on our toes with her humor, sarcasm and dry wit. She’s a great singer, baker, and craft maker of all sorts. It was a tough year, but we watched her grow into a strong little woman who can handle herself and make us smile though it all. ❤️

It’s looking like it may be a great delphinium year! This bloom is huge, each flower bigger than a toonie 😍
Delphiniums are one of my favourites to dry, they keep their colour and shape for a really long time. This light purple drys to an indigo that’s stunning!
It is a slow start to this season, but August will be packed with flower picking- if you want to book a group in let me know!

The air this morning finally feels like summer! These are some of the first blooms of the year, we’re ready for some sunshine ☀️
I’ll spend the day working my way through the first weeding of the gardens, the flowers are tiny but I still have high hopes 😃

It’s the longest day of the year- can we dare to hope it is the end of the longest spring ever??! With nightly lows falling from 0-3 degrees C for the last few weeks I feel June has slipped past with no growing happening.
The cosmos are all being reseeded, zinnias are small and some colours are thin. Frosts have taken a toll.
On the upside the snaps look great, dahlias were planted late so they look good, and if the peonies ever bloom I might have them for August weddings 🤣

Most of the Bouquet Trays have been picked up! Thank you 🩷💐 Here are a few things to know:
- make sure seedlings don’t dry out in the sun or flood out in the rain, check on the them daily until they’re big enough
- they all get 20-36” tall in the right conditions
- they’re all full sun varieties, you’ll get more blooms in the sun
- I usually plant 9-12” apart
-I’ll post a video in a couple weeks when it’s time to pinch them back- taking off the top leaves encourages basal branching and gives you more blooms!

It’s a cool foggy morning, and it feels lovely! There are some snaps starting to bloom in the garden, a month later than usual 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve been receiving messages daily about U-pick opening- all I can say is not yet! These snaps look amazing, but they are the only thing starting right now. I’m hoping for early August. I do have flowers right now for a few bouquets so if you want flowers message me, but not enough for groups to come to pick. Thank you all for hanging in here with me, it was rough having so many healthy seedlings die in the cold of June. As soon as the gardens are ready you’ll be the first to know!🩷
