💃🏻🪩Has your photographer ever asked you where you want your first dance to be????? 🕺🪩

When I see the opportunity to move a first dance to a spot other than "the dance floor", I don't hesitate to bring it up to my couple. Sometimes wedding days are so filled with timelines and things you do without thinking, but it's my job as a photographer to offer suggestions that will add beauty to your final gallery.

has a beautiful patio that has seconded as a dance floor for a few of my couples. When you have a venue visit, don't hesitate to ask where potential photo opportunities could be ❤️

Don't be afraid of the snow. Some of my favourite photos were taken during the winter when the sun and snow turned outside into a wonderland. From January to March, I will be offering outdoor private mini sessions. Let's bundle up, get cozy, and snap a few photos. Mini sessions are 15-20 min and include 10 images. $250+hst. 🎂 A new decade. 🎂

As I leave my 30s behind, I can only reflect how many soul altering moments happened. 4 houses, 2 sons, 2 angel dogs and one newly adopted doggo from the shelter. I opened my eyes and woke up to the true importance of the world. My perspective on life completely shifted and I'm exactly where I want and need to be.

I have gotten to share the most important day with so many of you. After shooting over 100 weddings and seeing so many of your families grow, I'm so lucky to call this my job. I really love getting to know you and then meeting your babies. So thank you! Thank you for continuing to support my little business.

My family is my rock and being home is my favourite place. I'm so proud of my kids and all they have accomplished. I am excited to watch and help guide them through their teen years (although I'd love to freeze time and keep them little). I truly wouldn't be able to be where I am without the support of my husband. All of my ideas, dreams, fears, and plans are met with a "Yes!!! Do it!" It doesn't matter how crazy my plans are, they always become a reality. FYI 🐓 coming spring 2025 😃

I'm extremely grateful to have spent 40 years on this planet and I believe this next decade is going to a wild one. Buckle up ✌️

I've often wondered how I can define myself as a photographer who embraces both fine art composition and candid, fun images. To have a feed with intentional artistry along with spontaneous moments has really weighed on my mind.

I want to portray my artistic vision with real moments. By showcasing both styles in my portfolio, I hope to find those couples who this message resonates with. Those who value both artistic depth and genuine, unposed expressions.

These photos were taken at a workshop hosted by , , and back in 2019. I recently found my scans from that I thought had disappeared into the internet black hole.

If you haven't been to a Greek wedding, you should meet some Greek friends. I had the absolute best time hanging out and capturing M&Fs wedding day.

This wedding ended my super September. It was such a great month and it definitely ended with a party. We decided to head to to capture their family and wedding portraits, and then headed to their cocktail receiving line where they got to greet their 300+ guests.

I'd have to say that their church was one of the most beautiful churches I've been into. That light!!!

So excited for you guys to start this chapter with Ella 🐕. Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your day 🫶

Becoming a big sibling is a huge change and I love that I get to document the early moments of sibling love ❤️

In home newborn sessions that are filled with love and light are my jam. Once wedding season is over, I will be open for more in home morning sessions 😍

This. Wedding. ❤️❤️

I'm not sure I've been to a wedding where every last detail was precisely how the couple wanted it with exactly who they wanted it with. Mom did the flowers, the brothers took care of the salad (delicious 9.9) friends helped with bartending and made sure everyone was fed. Christina is an amazing stylist and did her own hair/makeup (and made the mini charcuteries the morning of). The bride & groom helped deliver pizza and were the ones serving the delicious Billy Miner pie from The Keg.

From the minute I met with Phil & Christina, I knew their vision was to spend the day with their loved ones and enjoy (and be a part of) every second. My heart is so happy for Phil, Christina, and their families. It was so nice being a part of this wedding and I can truly say these two humans found their soulmate on this planet we call Earth 🫶🫶

When is the best time to book an engagement session?

If you're planning on sending out photos for save the dates or a wedding website, I'd recommend at least 6 months before your wedding. If you're planning on an engagement session to get comfortable behind the camera before your big day or to keep them as keepsake, you can do them as soon or as far away as you'd like.

What I think is more important, is to think of a location or activity that makes sense as a couple. If you like cooking, let's book an in home session where you create a delicious recipe. If you like early morning walks on the beach with your pup, no time is too early for me!!!
