Chef Godelive a la cuisine pour passion depuis l'âge de 12 ans. Née dans une famille de 13 enfants, il a toujours fallu cuisiner beaucoup. Au fil du temps, son amour pour la cuisine a commencé à attiser un petit feu en elle et alors elle réalise que c'est exactement ce qu'elle veut faire : non pas de la simple cuisine mais plutôt la création de nouvelles saveurs pour le plaisir de la bouche et des yeux. Au cours de sa carrière, elle a eu le privilège de travailler aux côtés d'un grand chef du très grand traiteur Atelier Gourmand en Belgique, Christophe Vanderkelen..
