Our Story
As a child my parents frequently hosted events for various companies and local community organizations. I grew up with the understanding that the goal of every event was to create a “WOW” factor so that guests would always leave with long lasting memories of a well-organized and fun event.
Over the course of seven years working part-time at Home Outfitters I have had the opportunity as a gift registry consultant to help many brides build their wedding gift wish list. This is where my passion for weddings began. I immediately fell in love with the wedding industry after attending multiple wedding shows with the company and so began my journey to being a full time wedding coordinator.
In September 2013 I enrolled myself at Durham College in Special Events Planning. In June 2015 I graduated with honors with a two year diploma and gained valuable experience that summer as an assistant wedding coordinator at Nestleton Waters Inn. This is a beautiful outdoor venue and bed and breakfast located one hour from Toronto. I was able to develop and improve on many skills that would help me build a foundation for my future in wedding coordination. I quickly realized that fine weather is not a pre-requisite for ensuring a great wedding. The most important aspect is ensuring that the bride is stress free in the knowledge that her big day will be the best day.
My favourite wedding colour palette is pink, grey and blue, I absolutely LOVE wedding cake and my perfect wedding day would be a brunch with pancakes, sausages, maple syrup and mimosas!
