Today was a busy day!! Glitter tattoo birthday party midday followed by face painting at late afternoon. Time for a well deserved couple of weeks off!! I will be back face painting in August! Contact me for September bookings- I only have two available weekends left for September!

today was a difficult day. A bday party outdoors under a large gazebo. No back up plan for the thunderstorm forecast. Luckily I have a policy wherein it states I leave when there is thunder…

But I did not. I didn’t want to upset the kids.

Here is some of the cleaned up aftermath… gloopy paint- waiting for silica gel packs to do their thing… drenched kit… and on site the paint so wet from blowing rain that it dripped off my brushes… lesson learned: abide by your business’s policies!! The kids will get over it… some parents will be upset… but your very expensive products will not need salvaging…

back to cleaning wet unused sponges now… lesson in the books!
