We are opening our barn doors August 17th, 2024 for our second annual Country Music Event.
Our goal is always to make events bigger + better; this year we are featuring not only one but two live bands!
In collaboration with our preferred vendors, we have decided to offer two admission options. Option 1 includes 2 bands and a succulent Prime Rib dinner. Option 2 is a general admission at 8:00pm.

We are so fortunate to get to know our clients and to assist them in their wedding preparations. I will never forget a conversation that I had with Theo + Erika on the evening of their wedding. I asked Theo: « how are you feeling? ». He answered: « I’m pretty nervous. ». Erika jumped in and said something like: « what are you most nervous about? » and he said: « I just want the day to be perfect for you ». I stood there 🥹🥰. This is what it’s all about folks. It’s simple. Be happy and ensure each other is happy.

We are hosting and collaborating with Table and Pine Photography for our first annual Northern Ontario Wedding expo! . We are also so excited to announce that Elliot + Olivia will be putting on a fashion show at the expo! We are beyond thrilled to feature this amazing local business and their incredible gowns 🤩. We will be releasing more information and an event timeline soon! There are so many incredible things to come!
. But, just wait! Let’s reflect… . Last year was a year of incredible growth and recognition for @barn_and_bliss. . We grew by further developing our offerings (i.e. styled and curated cocktail lounge area, upper bar, seating, etc), in how many weddings that were hosted here, in the number of events that we offered, in the relationships we have formed with industry vendors and we added to our calendar of events with our 4-day #blissfulchristmas. . The goal has always been to bring something new to our community + to offer a unique, convenient and one-of-a-kind barn wedding experience to our clients. . This year it became evident that we have not only achieved that goal but we have also managed to spark much joy to local patrons both by completely restoring this “historical” barn (so many have childhood memories here) and by offering entertainment to @westnipissingouest. . To add to such a monumental year of business, we were rated @ig_northbay choice wedding venue of 2023 💥 Kyle and I still reflect on learning the news of this award in complete amazement. In the “business world” we are “just getting started” and we have enormous plans for 2024 🚨. . In closing off the 2023 chapter, we reflect on our growth, recognition and success and sit in immense gratitude towards our clients, our family + friends who are so supportive and always eager to help anyway they can, to our community and for our supporters. . Goodbye 2023! We are ready for 2024!

In late 2017, Kyle and Kait came up with the idea to restore their barn for their own wedding in September 2018 and to offer the space to other couple’s interested in a unique and unconventional wedding setting. Work began shortly thereafter and consumed much of their time and attention. The couple with their young daughter took an almost falling barn and transformed it into a truly unique wedding venue that hosted a reception and the couples wedding in 2018. All guests were amazed and truly loved the versatility of the space.
Unfortunately, due to uncontrollable circumstances Kyle, Kait and Rhea were forced to relocate. They were fortunate to quickly find and purchase another property with a much larger and better barn that will be opening and ready to bring happiness to their clients celebrating weddings, planning community functions or corporate events for years to come.
