About our Special Guest for April 24th
Jason Verners
He has been called “The Magician For The Millennial”. Born in the West Coast of Canada, Jason spent his childhood years mastering the art of sleight-of-hand and now at just 24 years old, he has spent the past decade performing his magic all across North America. He has won numerous international awards for his craft, including a gold medal at PCAM and a bronze medal in The International Youth Magic Championships in Las Vegas.
Jason was nominated for Canadian Magician of the Year and Canadian Rising Star at the Allan Slaight Awards and was featured on the cover of Vanish Magazine, the largest magic industry publication in the world. Currently, Jason can be found sharing his latest effects during his regular appearances on CHEK's "The Upside" TV program, and exclusive client events.
Verners' illusions have been featured on national television channels including: The Space Channel, Syfy and even Shane Black’s blockbuster film: The Predator. Jason Verners can now be found performing at celebrity events, theatres and festivals all over the world.

Hidden Wonders - Chinatown Edition
A limited engagement for audiences of only 32 guests.
Hidden Wonders, the next edition of Shawn Farquhar’s Cabaret of Wonders, will premiere this Fall at an undisclosed location in Vancouver’s historic Chinatown. Fans of the Cabaret of Wonders know the concept has always been to offer an intimate and exclusive up close and personal magic experience that is unparalleled. The Cabarets track record of continuously selling out shows in Chilliwack at the Cultural Centre and in Vancouver at the Shangri-La Hotel is a positive indication that this trend is certain to continue with this new creative endeavour.
Hidden Wonders, a speakeasy style performance venue hidden behind a fake business facade in Chinatown is part of a new trend in magic entertainment that focuses less on grand-scale illusions and more on intimate experiences that leave the audience awestruck and moved. Confirmed guest will only be given the venues address and password once their tickets have been purchased. The Cabaret will offer two tiers of seating: General seating which is from the third row and back and Bespoke seating which will be the incredibly intimate first and second row seating which is guaranteed to have you in someway involved in the show. The seventy-five minute magic experience will feature effects exclusively designed for the venue as well as several of the effects Shawn created to win the world championship and to fool Vegas’s Penn & Teller on their hit television show Fool Us.
This is a limited engagement and tickets are certain to disappear fast.
