🤐 Do you want to know a little secret?
We did a wedding in January with no flowers except for the faux floral arch. Like no centrepieces, no boutonnieres, not even a bouquet.
And you know what? I didn't miss the flowers. And this is coming from someone who loves flowers. I am not lying when I say these things. I DID NOT miss the flowers.
Here's why. Flowers, for this particular couple, were less important to them than the ice cream sundae bar, less important than an open bar, and less important than fairy lights and neon signs. So when we designed their wedding experience, we designed it without flowers, which allowed the design to be complete and cohesive. We used their budget on the experiences they actually wanted most.
Please do not misunderstand me. I am not hating on flowers. But for some, other experiences may be more important and not everyone has the budget to do all the things.
