I want to share my passion for "moment-capturing" photography with others! I want to now share my passion for photography with others.

My love for “moment-capturing” photography began as a young teenager, when I started to realize that I was growing up so fast and the exciting times and beautiful friends in my life were not being tangibly recorded. The hobby continued after I graduated from high school, got married and had children, and over the past few years, it has blossomed into more than just a pastime. In 2011, I earned my

Photography Certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. I love learning new things about photography, putting them into practice and I just love being behind the lens! My style is straightforward – while I appreciate the digital arts, I’d rather capture moments exactly the way we want to remember them – simple, untouched, real. My photos will elicit emotion and be the keepsakes you are looking for!

Took a little trip downtown to pick up my recently repaired camera body. It took a trip all the way to Nikon Canada in Toronto to receive some expensive TLC and then back to The Camera Store where it was tested and given a pass. I’m very glad to have it back in my possession to begin prepping for grad photo season. Thought the evening sky and alley of buildings was worth a quick iPhone shot while I drove.

Throwback to the lovely fall we enjoyed in Southern Alberta - on a particularly warm and calm October Sunday afternoon, I had the privilege of taking family photos for my own dear sister-in-law and her clan. Not only did the weather cooperate, but so did the little ones and so did all of the nephews and nephews-in-law (they're usually the worst of the trouble-makers....)
We got so many Christmas-card-worthy photos! Always the goal for fall family sessions:)

Our three boys all play baseball and one thing being involved in community sports has afforded us is amazing friendships we'd never have otherwise gained. We immediately hit it off with this beautiful family last spring and it was my absolute pleasure to capture updated family photos of the 6 of them this fall.

Family photo sessions are hard work for kids and sometimes you gotta let them run and burn off some steam...but those candid moments also make great shots!

What a beautiful family:) It is always important to me to capture genuine smiles, genuine personality and genuine "vibes" - of course, we always try for the posed shots, but not at the expense of celebrating real life. I think we nailed it - and all these kiddos did a great job!
