The wedding party are making their way down the aisle.

I am watching carefully to cue up the music for the bride. To fix the dress/outfit/veil. To cue the final walk down the aisle.

This is one of the most important moments and one that I love no matter how many times I experience it.

A little throwback review on this rainy day 😍

The connections I make with each couple are so real. I try my best to do my best and make sure they feel heard and cared for. We build friendships, share stories, ups and downs, problem solve and celebrate.

I am thankful for every couple who chooses me to be a part of such an important day in their lives and wholeheartedly trusts me with it.

Every wedding and event I've worked on, every couple I've met stay with me throughout my career. My hope is that the experience they had stays with them too.

My favourite memory from this camp wedding is running to get the rings halfway through the ceremony because our lovely officiant left them in his other jacket pocket in his cabin.

The officiant also happened to be the bride's father. I caught him paddle boarding before the ceremony (see second slide) and at the time was worried he wouldn't be back in time for the ceremony.

This was not a big hiccup because he was staying on site, but imagine if the rings had been left in his hotel room 30 minutes away. This experience taught me to triple check on the location of the rings prior to the ceremony. 😉

About Chantal-Christine

Welcome to CC Weddings and Events!

If you are reading this you are considering working with me on one of the most significant days of your life. Thank you! I am honoured that you are thinking of hiring me. Working with someone you trust and you can collaborate with is really important, so here is an opportunity to get to know me before you take the next step in planning your wedding.

I have been working in events for over ten years. These have ranged from academic events and conferences, to weddings and festivals. I have a BAH and MA in art history from Queen’s University and completed a diploma in event management certified by the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2016 while living in the UK.

During my time in the UK I had the amazing opportunity to work on Pride in London, particularly as a liaison between Prides throughout the UK and towards creating an accessible Pride for all. In 2016 we achieved Silver Certification at our first attempt with Attitude is Everything.
