Monday motivation ⬇️

For those of you who know me, know that I also work a full-time job Monday through Friday. And as I walk into work this morning, I am completely exhausted 🥱 after an entire weekend working through events, non-stop setups, tear-downs and promoting events.

Everyone sees the glory of a happy and beautiful, balloon business, or any small business for that matter but what you don’t see is the continual effort and sacrifice it takes to build your business- and in this business all the weekends it takes away from you and your loved ones 😩

Having a support system is so important to your mental health at the end of the day, that is the most important thing for you 💕

And this girl right here, Esther, is one of those amazing people for me- my Balloons Bestie 🥰🎈

So my message for you at the start of this week is keep going, keep growing! 🌱

✨This stunning “We can Bearly wait” setup was a full custom colours design using double stuffed balloons to achieve this beautiful, soft palette with dark brown as a contrast.

🧸 My client wanted the nudes & brown for this teddy bear theme for her 2nd baby shower. After a great consult call, she shared with me her baby’s name and gender 🥰 and by adding a touch of pink and a nice helium bubble for the Photo Booth, it really gave it the last finishing touch!👌🏻

With heat/sun:

1)balloons expands under exposure and Thus, increasing the risk of POPPING over the duration of your event💥

2)DARKER colours absorb more heat, so they’ll be more likely to pop quicker.

3)they oxidize and go MATTE in colour.

TIPS:
1)Make sure your setup is in a shaded areas or if you can, even better, have a tent setup! 🎪

2)choose lighter colours or choose double stuffed custom colours for higher durability 🌈

3)if you don’t like matte, ask about our balloon shine ✨

🧘🏻‍♀️Sometimes it’s easy to forget that happiness can be in the Present- not the Future, not when I get there, or if I book that client- but NOW.

And it’s as simple as looking back and being grateful that this PRESENT me, is the very person I wanted to be, then! 🤯 Crazy right?

🎈Although I struggle with this, I'm working every day to turn things around by reminding myself that making mistakes is part of being human, and in wanting to learn and grow my business. But in order for this to happen first, I must DO!✅
