Hello, My name is Grace also known as Gracie (she/her)! I’m so grateful I have the opportunity to work with Pearson Collage as one of their many amazing camp leaders! I’ve always watched camp movies, tv shows and had fell in love with the idea of meeting new people and making a great memorable summer for everyone! I love everything about nature - the sounds, birds, trees, and animals. If I could be any animal in the world I would definitely be a dog, or a cat because of course they have 9 lives and I’m very clumsy. I’m excited to meet all of you!

Monday – Mac & Cheese with sausage crumble or beyond beef crumble and garlic bread
Tuesday – Beef Tacos or Plant Forward Tacos (vegetarian) and tortilla chips
Wednesday – Chicken Finger or Gardein Finger Caesar Wrap and French fries
Thursday – Beef Sliders or Vegan Black Bean Sliders with toppings
Friday – Pepperoni Pizza or Vegetarian Pizza with fresh fruit garnish
Each meal/day comes with apple or orange juice, rotating salad bar, fresh cut veggies, and a sweet treat.
*Please sign up by the Wednesday before camp begins if interested

Hi, my name is Kiana. I am from Saskatchewan, so getting out of the prairies and into the mountains is a very welcome change! I just completed my Bachelor of Education, but I am hoping to take another course so I can teach English as an additional language to newcomers. I love trying new things (especially food), spending time in nature, and making new friends. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great summer!

Hello my name is Julie and I am very excited to be working as a summer camp leader at Pearson!! I have always loved nature and would like to share my experiences and knowledge with the everyone! This is my first summer camp experience and I hope to make a lot of fun memories! My most memorable outdoor experience was going canoe camping and staying under a tarp the whole time due to the rain 😣, so I hope we have a sunny summer! If I were an animal, I would want to be a jellyfish. Even though they are just a bunch of nerves, they are very majestic beings and super cool! Also, not having a brain to think sounds very relaxing.

Hello, my name is Linda May (she/her) and I am delighted to have the opportunity to work as a summer camp leader with Pearson College. I have fond memories of camp as a child and am excited to help build fun and lasting memories for this year’s campers! I enjoy drawing and painting in my free time and am pursuing a major in visual arts at the University of Victoria. If I had a super power it would be controlling water because I grew up near the ocean. If I were an animal I would be a bear because they eat berries and salmon which are two foods I love.

Hello my name is Hannah! I am super excited to be working at Pearson as a summer camp leader as I have a huge passion for working with children and spent many of my childhood years going to summer camps. I built so many strong relationships throughout those summers and had such amazing experiences and want to lead children in having the same memorable experience! I spend a lot of my free time reading books….no specific genre, I’ll really read anything! If I could be any animal I would be a giraffe, that’s my favourite animal and it would be so cool to be that tall!
