45 years ago today, during a stop on his Marathon of Hope, 21-year-old Terry Fox threw out the first pitch before the Toronto Blue Jays' game against Cleveland at Exhibition Stadium.

Fox was given a standing ovation.

The Blue Jays won the game 6-3.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Gina’s received a substantial donation from Canadian Bridal Designer . Her dresses are ethereal, graceful, timeless and effortlessly compliment a bride’s natural beauty. Featured are just a few of the beautiful pieces from the generous donation of over 200 dresses! As always, ALL proceeds from bridal gown sales are donated back to our local cancer charities of Waterloo Region and The National Terry Fox Foundation.
