Is it Friday yet? When you are planning your wedding decor, don’t forget to give the bar some LOVE.. after all, at many weddings it’s the hottest spot (especially after the sun goes down).

Some tips for bar decor:

🥃 Have a large sign with all of the available drinks and featured cocktails

🌹 Bar Floral Arrangement always!

🍃 Add some greenery to the bar top

🍊 Make sure the bar team step it up in the bar garnish department

🍷 Use Vintage Wine Boxes stacked to create different heights for decor and florals

🪞Use a mirror or a decorative tray on the bar to keep some of the bar top essentials (use something like mason jars to create a uniform look)

So many people have been limited by the opportunity to see family abroad due to the limiting quarantine restrictions in Canada when returning from overseas. Yesterday, it was announced that the mandatory 14 day quarantine may be lifted as early as July for fully vaccinated Canadians returning home. This is great news as it means many will have the opportunity to be reunited with family. We would love to know where is some family that you can’t wait to visit? Please allow me to introduce myself as it’s been a minute! That’s me on the left 👋🏻, I am , owner and principal planner at Weddings by Bluebird.

Together with my team, we have planned over 100 weddings in the Sea to Sky area (Whistler, Squamish, Pemberton) and are one of only a handful of Whistler-based Planners.

I have lived in Whistler for over 17 years, and the whole time I’ve been an event planner. I have done an event or wedding in pretty much every location you can do an event in Whistler!

Despite the last 14 months of COVID-19 restrictions, I have continued to work closely with my clients to replan their weddings (sometimes 3+ times!). We only take on a limited number of clients every season and specialize in Full Wedding Planning for our clients.

I’d love to work with you and I have a few openings left in Fall/Winter 2021 and Spring/Summer 2022 due to some recent cancellations. Let’s chat!
