Who is Rosie? ….and what you can expect from her Caribbean Kitchen?
Rosanne, affectionately called “Rosie” by close friends and family❤️was born on the sunshine Caribbean island ☀️🏝 of Jamaica🇯🇲.
As a teenager she left the Caribbean to study in Toronto, Canada 🍁🇨🇦 which eventually became home for many, many years; until one day a work opportunity brought her to the beautiful city of Basel in Switzerland 🏔🇨🇭.
Whilst enjoying very much settling and living in Basel, there was something missing 🤔!!! That lovingly prepared typical Caribbean meal (to satisfy those occasional cravings for Jamaican “yawwd” food😩)
As such, she started cooking more and more of her favourite Jamaican dishes at home, not only to satisfy those cravings but eventually developing a passion for sharing this authentic and flavourful culinary experience with friends. It was from this passion to spread the vibrant Caribbean culture through its unique cuisine, Rosie’s Caribbean Kitchen journey started !✨
You can expect an introduction to authentic traditional Caribbean dishes made with an overwhelming passion and rich Caribbean heritage.
Rosie's homeland has the motto, “Out of many, one people” …. You are invited to be “ONE” with US.🥰
