From summer BBQs to a cosy winter wrap-up 🎄✨

As the year comes to a close, our Registration Team gathered for a relaxed Advent evening with mulled wine, a winter grill and sweet treats — a simple but meaningful way to pause, connect and celebrate the people behind the scenes.

Events don’t just happen on-site. They start months earlier with precision, reliability and constant attention to detail. Our Registration Team plays a key role in ensuring smooth delegate journeys, clear communication and a professional experience from first click to on-site badge pick-up.

Thank you to everyone involved for a year of strong teamwork and commitment.

🎬 Award-winning storytelling for science

We are proud to share that the short film “What is ECTRIMS?”, created by Congrex Switzerland for ECTRIMS, has been honoured at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.

Premiered during the Opening Session of ECTRIMS 2024, the film traces four decades of scientific progress in multiple sclerosis research — from the pioneering vision of Professor Otto R. Hommes to today’s global ECTRIMS community.

Developed over nine months by our Senior Marketing & Communications Manager Naomi Smith, the project combined in-depth historical research, interviews across Europe and a carefully crafted visual narrative to bring the story of ECTRIMS to life.

This recognition highlights the importance of thoughtful storytelling in science and the role of strategic communication in connecting people, research and progress.
