Meet , a world ballet Star. Principal dancer “Étoile” at the Paris Opera !!

**1. What inspired you to start dancing?**

My sister. She was taking dance class when she was young and I asked my parents to do the same when I saw her during a class

**2. Can you describe a typical day in your training routine?**

Most of the time, we have a dance class in the morning, the afternoon is for rehearsals and we have show in the evening

**3. What has been your most memorable performance to date?**

There are a lot: my first principal role, my first swan lake, gisel with Myriam would Braham for her farwell, but I think the best memory will stay La Bayadere when I got nominated Danseur Étoile

**4. Who are your biggest influences in the ballet world?**

I love to watch a lot of different productions when I’m rehearsing a piece. It helps me to create my character, to steal some things from other dancers and then to work on my own version. But I especially love to see Friedman Vogel and Mathias Heymann dancing, I think they are amazing artists

**5. What advice would you give to aspiring dancers?**

To never give up. The dance world isn’t easy of course, but if you really love to dance, you need to believe in your dreams as hard as you can and stay focus on these dreams.

Meet , a Star in the making.

**1. What inspired you to start dancing?**

I was convinced by the son of my swimming teacher to try this dance studio where I started at 6. I was always fascinated with movement from how water flows to how the wind blew nature. From my first dance classes I knew it was my calling.

**2. Can you describe a typical day in your training routine?**

My day typically begins with a ballet class at 10:00 AM, which is essential for warming up and refining technique. Rehearsals start at 11:30 AM and can involve working on up to four different ballets simultaneously. These sessions usually conclude around 6:00 PM, unless there is an evening performance. The repertoire often includes a mix of very classical and very contemporary pieces, so I incorporate Gyrotonics into my routine to maintain healthy movement patterns and ensure my body stays balanced.

**3. What has been your most memorable performance to date?**

Every performance holds a unique significance and contributes to my growth as an artist, making it difficult to single out just one. However, my recent portrayal of Mercutio in “Romeo and Juliet” stands out as particularly memorable. The role allowed me to fully immerse myself in the character and bring my own interpretation to life. The energy of the performance, combined with the intricacies of Mercutio’s personality, made me feel incredibly alive and present on stage. The opportunity to convey such rich storytelling through my own lens was exhilarating and deeply fulfilling.

**4. Who are your biggest influences in the ballet world?**

My biggest influences are my teachers who I grew up with , my gyrotonics/rolfing master who gives me complete new perspective on how to move and approach each step and the beautiful artists that I can see thanks to the internet. There are so many wonderful dancers who I deeply appreciate for their quality and excellence which include some of the people dancing in this very gala.

**1. What inspired you to start dancing?**

-“Music was and still is the biggest Inspiration for me to dance, as a kid i use to paint a music with a water colors and then trying to dance it.”

**2. Can you describe a typical day in your training routine?**
-“My day usually looks like ⁠this:
6.40 wake-up
7.30 Bringing 1.kid to school ,
9.15 bringing 2. kid to kindergarten.
10.00 ballet class
11. 30-14.00 rehearsal
14.00-15.00 brake
15. ⁠00-18.00 rehearsals according the schedule .
18.30-21.30 kids time.”

**3. What has been your most memorable performance to date?**

-“To choose one most remarkable performance is very hard for me, lately I really enjoying every show and each of it will be safely saved in my memory.”

**4. Who are your biggest influences in the ballet world?**

-“My biggest influences in the ballet world is the people which whom I’m shearing the time in the ballet studio every day : choreographers, teachers , dancers and my partners.”

**5. What advice would you give to aspiring dancers?**

-“ to not stop learning , to be open for new things specially if it feels like “not yours” that’s the way of brighten the borders, to enjoy the process of rehearsals and not only the finals of it. The process of something often brings more than the actual final.”
