The delivery of delicious home made meals is back! This week, fresh from my kitchen:
Lasagne or eggplant lasagne 15 chf p.p, and if you feel like indulging, tiramisù 8 chf p.p. I can accommodate all dietary requirements.
DM today before 8 pm for a Thursday pickup or delivery in the Lausanne area.

It should have been a middle eastern recipe… however as I have my head stuck in Italy ( thanks 🫣) it became a roasted zucchini with pesto, burrata, rucola and tropea onion…..another italian delight. And for who needs meat, a thin slice of parma ham would complement this beautifully ❤️

Today starts our delicious meals series. After our tomato pie that was a quintessential italian delight, tonight on the menu: black and red rice with mango, Tropea onion and cilantro salsa. The tuna was marinated in sesame oil, soy sauce and wasabi. Then just seared to perfection. If it was not Sunday and I had access to a market, I would have added a bed of something green….

Here it is! One of my favorite Ottolenghi’s recipes. Chicken with tangerines, fennel, time and orange juice. Lots of flavor for this delicious dish that makes you feel you are on vacation. This particular batch will travel to Scotland with one of my favorite people, to ease her arrival at Uni after spending a week at home.

This is what happened in my kitchen this weekend, theme was: lets empty the fridge
Best sushi student ever made his lunch with leftover grilled salmon.
A before and after of my fridge’s vegetables, grilled in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil. Magnificent.

This is a series of before and after, though I realize I forgot to take some pictures. Sometimes, cooking is like tidying up a room. We start with a big pile of stuff, and after some hours, it all looks perfect. On the menu this weekend:

market fruit and vegetables salad with tangerine, honey and mustard vinaigrette, home made brioche and home made foie gras papillote of sea bream with citrus, olive oil mashed potato and vegetables.
For dessert, raspberry semifreddo and berries salad.

Traditional Sunday meal, especially the slow ones are my fave! The ribeye roast was definitely the centerpiece, but my favorite was this 13 roasted vegetables platter, it would have needed no accompaniment…. Thank you MB for ordering, it was a lot of fun to cook for you today!

Fancy a cinnamon roll? Order by tomorrow 14.00 for a Wednesday pickup ( ISL) or delivery ( Lausanne area). 5 CHF a roll, 6 CHF with cream cheese frosting, to be ordered in multiples of 6. They freeze really well.

Inspired by a dinner in Massachussets and a market in Como, my dinner tonight was quite amazing. Vongole veraci, light courgettes, fried zucchini flowers and creste di gallo fresh pasta… irresistible. Sadly no leftovers for tomorrow. Food makes me happy, and I like to make my customers happy by cooking for them in their own homes!
