This year's special guest DJ from the UK is none other than the incredible Mr Brian Kelson!
Here are a few words from him:

Having two older brothers who went to the Twisted Wheel in the late 60’s meant I was raised on Soul, but as a young Suedehead in 1970 I was exposed to the sound of Reggae. I put on the first Scorcher event in 2000, as there was no events at the time playing both Soul and Reggae, and its developed in to the biggest yearly one night gathering, not only of original style skinheads, but for all lovers of 60’s Reggae and Soul music. At the time Scorcher was a big risk, with people saying you can’t play “Dulcemania” Drumbago, and “Just Loving You” Ruby Andrews at the same event, it just won’t work. I partnered with Sounds & Pressure at Margate and Camden Town, putting on live Jamaican acts at Margate. Djed all over Europe, and was the resident Reggae/Soul DJ at Mersea Island scooter rally for 18 years. Currently stepping back from Djing a bit, and just picking and choosing a few good ones that I like doing, such as The Bamboo Club in Bedford, and of course Boss Sounds Finest. Been responsible for breaking many tunes on the scene, ones that spring to mind are “Hold Him Joe”, “Regal Reggay”, “Dynamite”, “Freedom Land”, but Jim Cox just beat me to “Run With A Knife” by a week.

Mr. SCOTT PICKEN from Telford UK

Here are a few words from him:

I have been involved with the Original Skinhead scene most of my adult life which is where my passion for 60s Jamaican reggae rocksteady and Ska has arisen. Over the years myself and my wife Tracey have attended numerous Skinhead reggae and soul events throughout the UK and Europe where we have made friends for life into the same infectious scene.
I have been lucky enough to be invited to Dj at some of these events thoughout the UK, including the fabulous Scorcher weekends.
Being asked to Dj at Boss Sounds Finest in Switzerland is an absolute privilege and my first Djing venture into Europe.
We attended this event in 2024 and had an absolute ball.
Can't wait. BOSS SOUNDS FINEST 2025.

Here are a few words from our headliner from Belgium.
KRIS VAN BEETHOVEN

I caught the ska and reggay fever in the late 8T’s after hearing Don Drummond and Prince Buster. Around the same time I started listening to soul and r&b and my taste was hugely influenced by the Kent compilations (compiled by Harboro Horace/Ady Croasdell). The local mods were also a major influence but me and a couple of mates went for a harder look … so we cropped our hair and never looked back.
I’ve always considered myself more a collector than a dj although I have been dj’ing for as long as I remember at both mod and skinhead do’s (and youth clubs before that). I have played at several fantastic clubs and do’s over the years such as (in recent years) the Boss Dynamite Oslo weekender, the Atomium R&B weekender(s) and Treasure Sounds in Hamburg.
I’ve been part of a couple of clubs in Antwerp, the last ones being the Riverside R&B Club and Reggaematic (still going!). For a couple of years, I was in the artistic team of the Reggae Geel festival (Skaville stage, Tallawah stage) where we hosted some fantastic soundsystems, dj’s and foundation artists over the years.
I’m really excited to play at Boss Sounds Finest where I can play my two main musical interests side by side on a fantastic soundsystem in a beautiful ballroom and in great company. What’s not to love!

On the soulful side, this is what you might hear from me, from r&b to northern and blue-eyed soul:
