Was a joy crafting this piece for GaultMillau Suisse 's wine of the month. Plant Robert, a rare treat and purely a wine "made in Lavaux". My journey into wine has always traversed beyond the bottle; unearthing the stories, the culture and stoic tenacity of winemakers, before the cork is pulled and the glass poured. Just keep digging. 🍇

A sad day for New Zealand broadcast news and the industry as a whole. So many stories that need to be told, should be shared and reported across multiple platforms/perspectives. Multiple issues and reasons are responsible for both Newshub’s demise and the cuts at TVNZ+ News, but the lack of control on Streamers and wrong decisions by top management - more so for Newshub - is truly a signal that a once dynamic and varied media industry is in great peril. Come July, a country of 5+ million with only have one TV news platform, appalling. The “changing media landscape” is not present but past tense, this trend has been going for more than a decade. Thoughts and Kia Kaha to former media colleagues and friends back home. This needs to be fixed fast. A truly dark day in storytelling.

🎭Treading the boards again with a dramatic reading of this intriguing play, set in the mountains of Ticino. Gripping, visceral and raw. Playing alongside my brilliant co-star Fiona Cook. Tickets available at The Village Players of Lausanne. See you April 18, Lausanne. 🙏🏼

📢 Come and attend this gripping play reading, organized by veteran director Marc Checkley and starring Fiona Cook.

🎭 Synopsis 🎭
1995, in the Swiss Alps. Patricia Highsmith, the queen of the thriller, now ageing and ailing, hides away in her study, surrounded by her collection of books and antique weaponry, finding solace in her seclusion, her cats and her ci******es. A polished young man turns up, sent by her New York publisher to persuade her to write one final installment of her best-selling series featuring the master manipulator, Tom Ripley. But as day breaks over the mountains, it becomes clear that the charming stranger is set on a far more sinister mission. Joanna Murray-Smith’s play “Switzerland” is a gripping psychological thriller!

✨We recommend you watch “The Talented Mr Ripley” on Netflix before our play reading for more context.✨

* Please be aware this performance contains strong language/profanities.

📍 CPO - Beau Rivage 2, 1006 Lausanne

A night of telling old stories, new stories and sharing empowering stories for all. Honoured to again work with the team from Bank of America, planning and hosting their exclusive International Women's Day event. This year, our grand affair was held at the Grand Theater de Geneve, with stellar cuisine prepared by Jacopo Romagnoli, Thibaud Cogne and their teams at Cafe de la Plage. Paired with our delicious and honest conversations, the wines of trois Suisse vignerones: Catherine Cruchon-Griggs, Sandrine Roche and Adeline Wegmüller. Our guests ended the night with artisan (and sustainable) chocolate by Paola Bellia of Cadesio. Truly a night of many memories and ideas to embrace. See you next year! 😀 💜
