The day-to-day of a Posh and Prim Floral Assistant:

Event setup and design
Event clean up
Select flora and foliage for arrangements, working with numerous combinations to synthesize and develop new creations.
Be able to create proposals for clients.
Eventually grow to meet with clients.
Mix of working from home/ physical
Order and purchase flowers and supplies from wholesalers and growers.
Maintain inventories of materials, equipment, or products.
Deliver arrangements to customers
Plan arrangement according to client's requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties of materials, or select appropriate standard design pattern.
Develop artistic or design concepts for decoration, exhibition, or commercial purposes.
Trim material and arrange bouquets, wreaths, terrariums, and other items using trimmers, shapers, wire, pins, floral tape, foam, and other materials.

Posh & Prim is hiring! Our ideal team member is an organized wedding nerd that eats sleeps and fixates on the details of weddings and social events! Extreme? We don’t think so! We are looking for someone who burns with passion for all things weddings. Someone who delights in the glamorous side of weddings… designing, flexible schedule, working with colorful clients, bridal gowns, cake tasting, and design mock-ups to name a few. The perfect candidate for our vibrant team is someone who is able to thrive in high-stress environments with a positive personality. Superior written communication is equally important to the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple client accounts and prioritize duties. Individuals will work closely with the executive planners, clients, and associates in day-to-day operations, as well as long-range planning. Responsibilities are varied from administrative and management support, to coordination and production of events.

The day to day of a Posh and Prim Event Assistant

-Provide administrative support to Lead Planners.
-Ordering of Event Supplies
-Team pow wow
-Floral prep
-Managing office (screens mail/telephone calls, handles requests for information, inventory)
-ordering supplies, maintaining files, writing and proofreading, preparing for consultations
-Management of Business and Lead Planner's Calendar
-Assisting with mailings, marketing, and digital communications (e-news, social media, blog)
-Event Assistance (coordinating, set up, ex*****on, and strike)
-Attending and working at numerous special events as indicated on the calendar.
-Hiring interns and volunteers, as well as supervising them
-Client onboarding, and account management
-Meeting prep and confirmation
-Client onboarding


What skills make for a successful Event assistant

-Critical Thinking
-Excellent written and oral communication skills, including superior grammar, spelling, and punctuation
-Punctual
-Excellent organizational skills and pays attention to the small details
-Ability to work well with various personalities, cultures, and economic classes
-Strong team contributor who is willing to help out as needed
-Ability to prioritize and work independently or with minimal supervision
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Willing to learn Operational software
- Strong interest and background in design, style, and fashion
