Shanghai, September 25th, 2024 - GLOBUS EVENTS, one of the joint owners of TCT Asia organizer—GLOBUS RAPID NEWS Co., Ltd. has reached an agreement with Uniris Exhibition Shanghai Co., Ltd to make a strategic investment in its PM CHINA and IACE CHINA exhibitions.

The application of 3D printing technology will start in the second half of 2024. 🕵️‍♂️Apple Watch will use it to make some components. After a year of intensive testing, its production efficiency has improved.💪

According to industry media, Chinese LPBF leader Bright Laser Technologies (BLT) was involved in the testing of 3D printed parts in 2023 as a machine supplier. 🛠️

🎯Different from last year when it was only an equipment supplier, it will directly produce these components this year. Due to the cost advantage of 3D printing, BLT's shipments of 3D-printed components are expected to continue to grow in the coming years, with the potential to produce Apple Watch cases (as the difficulty is lower compared to the cases of other Apple products).📈

In 2024, Demand for INDUSTRIAL Metal Powder Bed Fusion was particularly strong in China 🔥 with shipments from Chinese vendors up 45% in the period 📈. Four of the top five global vendors for INDUSTRIAL Metal Powder Bed Fusion printer shipments in China.

In archery, the utilization of carbon fiber has notably enhanced the performance of archery equipment, offering athletes greater accuracy 🏹and durability during competitions.

In sports equipment, the shock absorption system of sports shoes can simulate the absorption effect of various materials and designs on impact force via simulation, thereby choosing the best solution 💯.

In skateboarding, Saint-Gobain employed 3D concrete printing technology to customize a skate park consisting of eight modules. This approach not only reduced the consumption of required raw materials 🌳but also decreased carbon dioxide emissions 🌍.
