On September 21st, we hosted our most recent POLYTOPO event in Athens.

We design spatial events that interpret the landscape and engage guests with it. Through tremeEats’ POLYTOPO, we created a two-layer narrative, shaping experiences through architecture.

For this event, we worked with the concept of “a room within a room.” The entrance level, anchored by .psychoyos ’ installation, told a story of scale. The kitchen, activated by the talented , blended beautifully into the space, with custom marble countertops lit from below. The deepest part of the cave remained dark, illuminated only by candles, with the addition of a water element.

The upper level hosted an art exhibition by , a floral installation by , and a deck for . These elements were positioned so that guests caught glimpses of the space as soon as they entered. The music area, bathed in red light, was placed to reflect its rhythm through a vertical cavity in the cave. Upon entering, guests immediately saw paintings, and flowers in vibrant red appeared to grow from the marble, creating a striking contrast.

This is the second part in our ongoing collaboration with . Photography by

Good morning y’all. Feels almost illegal to wake up this early on Saturdays- it’s how you know I slept on the carpet last night- it’s a thing

!!Sharing some pictures of our POLYTOPO event in Athens!! You ‘ve all seen me running around with the camera, yet there is something profound with pictures taken from our phones-yes I’ve screenshotted all of your stories so thank you ig?! They remind me of those nostalgic moments that we were all like oh just let me take a picture. Pictures not well-thought, not composed- even blurry. (This is the only reason we are not covering your cameras with stickers any time soon although we would love to)

Anyway, after too much fighting with the whole shoe drama, us changing dress-codes last minute (oh that was intentional) and the AI generated forms that built up to this whole experience, here we are, not ghosting you for 2-3 months and then coming up with the pictures. So enjoy a what will be a consistent posting experience. Thank you again for showing up🐉🐉🐉🐉🔥🔥🔥🥵

While designing our first ever POLYTOPO, we knew nothing would ever be the same.

Through POLYTOPO events, TremeEats embraced outdoor dining and redefined it. POLYTOPO challenged the fundamental ideas of dining. Sitting around a table isn’t the norm anymore.

An event happens between tables, not at one. The concept draws inspiration from Xenakis’s work on Polytopes. Independent spatial events work seamlessly together, each unfolding in its own timing (and music). Guests move around the area with a map (or menu), discovering the timing of things as the landscape shifts from day to night.

TremeEats is architecture and always has been. From the very beginning, we wanted to change things. Invent things. We are just getting started. With the completion of our first 10 events and the first POLYTOPO, we are entering a new era of experimentation and risk.

Are you in? See you soon 👀👀

Let’s talk about design✨

Our approach for Easter Pop-Up was to recreate the feeling of being surrounded by tall grass, reminiscent of the British countryside and its extensive grasslands.

The result was a kid-friendly installation made from easily sourced, sustainable materials. Located on the 2nd floor near the high-end fashion brands, the challenge was to take simple materials like wood and paper and use them in a way that would fit or even complement the displays.

The selection of materials, beyond sustainable, aimed to showcase the designer's ability to transform easily sourced, widely accessible materials with skill rather than relying on complex machinery and expensive materials.

The installation was modular. It had to be made in London remotely and assembled on-site in pieces. We used Japanese wooden joinery for the wooden parts, adding an extra layer of sophistication to the design. The final structure’s height was just below the eye level of a seated adult. For children, the installation was perfect for sparking games of hide and seek and more.

The hues of green and the way the installation spanned across the floor and table surfaces created a space much larger than the given area. By studying the views of Oxford Street, we ensured the installation truly connected with its surroundings. Extensive studies of movement around the restaurant and safety protocols were conducted for positioning the structures.

At the tables where paper elements met, flowers were placed to give a feeling of conclusion to the structure as well as a touch of freshness. The menus were specifically designed to match the Selfridges aesthetic, contrasting in color with the structures.

Living at for a week was okay. I have just completed my plans for the conversion of the 5th floor to a penthouse and I must admit, I did wonders. Also moving Pizza Pilgrims from the 4th.

So about Selfri.. First of all, I got to express myself on Pizza Pilgrims’ boxes twice a day. I had to get over the fact that my fire-shooting rabbits got replaced by carrot-eating ones. I mean, okay but...

Having full access to the whole Oxford Street 400 building felt like a trap. Ofc I invited over all my friends living in London (and ofc the security was not okay with it). Having a 200 sqm studio on the 5th floor covered in white carpet? Hmm. Well, that was something. But Pizza Pilgrims? Ugh, that was tough!

Anyway, apart from the pizza restaurant (that evidently took me 2 months to get over), here I am posting about one of my most important weeks to date. TremeEats’ work was on display in London at the city’s most prestigious department store. A forward-thinking team full of bright creatives trusted me with their Easter Pop-Up design.

I can’t be thankful enough for the opportunity. Anyway, talk to you soon in another post showing more of our design. And after that, our “one more thing” moment. Lol, bye!

Our first tremeEats event in the fashion industry. One of our greatest moments in the tremeEats history, getting to express our vision crafting every element on the setting.

Starting with the conceptual work done in cooperation with the brand resulting in rice paper-origami shapes enclosing light fixtures. Designing not only what you see but also how you get to see it- Those lights brought light to their environment, “activating” specific parts of the synthesis. Cad drawings reveal the specific focal points of the rice paper structure, resulting in a dialogue with the surrounding neoclassical structure.

Crafting table and seating from MDF boards, cutting them accordingly in forms inspired by classicism but simplified and painted in 4 layers with red paint.

The rice papers structure enclosed the dinner arranged in themes, ranging from lobster hanging from chamomile to moss seated buns. A menu-map guided guests around the structure, instructing them to unfold their meal.

Did you miss us? Well it doesn’t matter really cause we really missed you.

Here we come with some winter updates🎄(although posted pictures from our summer event in Athens lol. Something in Christmas reminds me of sunsets-kind-of excuse)

This fall has been quite busy. Uni projects, exotic trips and some fancy fancy secret happenings here and there- don’t let them fool you tho; we work like crazy on some great new things.

Although we hate Christmas we can’t stop thinking what holidays can look like. You know reinventing is our thing(or at leat we like to think so). Wild tremeEats are coming this season. In Cyprus and Greece🥵 (still not in the mood) 🥶🥶🥶(better).

See you soon

Good morning! Consistent posting yes sir!

Sharing some underlying work of our latest Dinner Pop-Up. When we say meticulously designed events, we mean this. Approaching the landscape based on my recent work at uni with the intention of creating a design and a layout of spacial element that tells a story💦.

Each design is based on one of 7 designed principles I ended up with, with each one representing a different approach of how to work with the existing landscape. Even the seating arrangement and the flow of the spacial menu is seen as a case study that brought very interesting findings on its way.

Here are some illustrated topography diagrams of our 10th event🐅🐅

The wait is over. Presenting (some) of Eleni’s Photographs of our event in Greece. They shine in full glory on our website under the Events tab.

Also a picture of food😨😨😨. We rarely share our dishes although everyone agrees tremeEats cuisine rocks. We do so that you focus on the architectural elements you know and not so on the food. But you know, a good beef tartare is a nice thing to see on instagram💀

Now focusing on on some new content of our 10th event while also exploring some changes and introducing new features across tremeEats. See these 10 first events as a season.

Welcome to season 2🐅🐅🐅

After a non-dramatic Selection Process🥲(missed those athens vibes) and only getting 3x times our capacity in requests, here we are:

We still had to cancel more applications than those we accepted and we hope to see you at the next one. At this event, a new location meant new people will get to experience tremeeats. And in fact for 90% of our upcoming guests it’s their first tremeEats. We hope you appreciate our efforts as we do🐊

Anyway🥁 I will be posting again (hope i keep my promise this time). We have event 8 and 9 to cover and then we will have to cover event 10 as well. Sooo here is a post with pictures collected from our guests from our latest event, hosted in Athens, Greece. Thank you all for coming and for meeting you. We really hope to see you again soon.

Tomorrow is the real deal tho when I will be posting Elenis Theochari’s cinematic pictures..

Good morning people🐅🐅

Reservation requests end tomorrow 01/09 at 10AM.

Reviewing applications is an important part of our events since we believe community is the most important part of tremeEats. We follow a fair selection process that looks at personality while prioritizing repeating requests and our existing members. We keep extensive lists of applications from our previous events that we match with our new events. Our mission is to design a table layout of meaningful, interesting interactions.

Keep in mind that our events availability is extremely limited. We contact all applicants once the reservation request period is completed.

It’s the people.

It’s you, having the patience dealing with 3AM dress-code stories, secret locations and the 2 page application form. It’s you being some of the most creative and interesting people we get to know (being nice so you apply to the next one too).

It’s us, friends coming together to create something beautiful. It’s a FAMILY FIRM- Xenia’s fav phrase. There’s something sweet to the way we work. Last minute drama, disagreements and lots of Chari Skase. Yet, we always end up with the most amazing result- I like to see the glass half full🐒

THE PICNIC, APRIL 22, PAFOS

Reservation request form is now closed! We really appreciate all of you- especially those applying in the first 5 mins an event gets announced!

You will all receive the status of your request shortly. Successful reservations will be notified in the next few hours. (Keep an eye on your DMs 👀 ) We will also keep a waiting list, and we will let you know your place in it, in case somebody changes its mind.

We are doing our best to keep the process transparent and fair. We always receive requests three to four times our events’ capacity. We treat all of our requests equally while keeping a balance between our repeating friends and new people who want to join tremeEats. We try hard to keep tremeEats up to our standards thus we do not exceed our maximum capacity.

See you soon🐒

The Dinner Pop-Up, January 2nd

The sad Pellegrino. The Dinner continues on the ground floor where a representation of a formal meal is happening. Linen tablecloths, wines by and beautifully cooked meats. Beloved was furious I wasn’t cutting the meat in the photography- friendly way🙂

The Dinner Pop-Up ended with a synthesis of Baked Alaska Dessert, a Victorian era classic. Assembled on site at the centre of the house. The process took a while but it was worth it. We then lighted it up with Dark rum🫣 serve immediately.
