Following the superb response to his last release “Lost Wiv U” with close pal Ruby May Moon, Human Movement is in attack mode dishing up another powerful offering with his new single “Lifted”.

“Lifted” is a warped and bass-heavy serving of UKG made up of hypnotic vocal loops, cute bird calls and referee whistles. In typical HM fashion, the energy gauge goes all the way up and does not waver. For long-time fans of the Syd/Eora producer’s work, this new one will be just what they were after and more!

In support of his 4-track Subtle EP out August 23 with Gallery, Human Movement is embarking on a headline tour of New Zealand playing in Christchurch and Queenstown alongside some of the island's best local selectors kicking off on Saturday, July 13.

Already, “Lifted” has seen love from big-time UK producers including Borne Fruits label founder Amaliah and Danielle.

Lips & Rhythm sails into Summer 2024 with a fresh EP from Residentes Balearicos. The Ibiza-based duo of Alessandro Doretto and Luca Averna have been turning out sun-soaked dance music for several years now from their studio in the islands. The title track Paraiso is a timeless tune with just the right blend of slowed down Acid and Flamenco guitar + claps. Polvo Mineral is a bit mysterious with ethereal pads, big drum fills and chanting. After announcing his triumphant return to the scene with “Sub Subtle”, Sydney/Eora producer Human Movement is now ready to share the next creation from his forthcoming EP with Gallery Recordings.

“Lost Wiv U” is a collaborative effort with close confidant Ruby May Moon (now based in Rotterdam). Having grown up on the Eastern Beaches of Sydney/Eora together, these two know each other’s musical strengths and tendencies back to front, which shines through on the record.

The single is an airy breakbeat affair littered with worldly instrumentation. At times, a pan flute floats in and at others, the knock of ancient-sounding wooden percussion breaks through. Admirers of UKG will be licking their lips as well, an angelic female vocal is the icing on the cake for those who adore Garage.
