There is no charge for requesting a refund and your balance can be split if you'd wish to donate even just a portion of what's left to a good cause or to festival.

Malevolent Creation, Heathen and Depresy official are new in the BA line-up, and we're officially announcing Municipal Waste left our roster, and Necrot.
The KAL stage adds Havocknoize, khost, TENSION CONTROL, Trepaneringsritualen and Z, and after the program, NIGHCALL synthwave night and IGRA/CYBERSHEEP sound system will supply you with hard beats.

Hardcore and thrash legends, pioneers of crossover thrash and slamming death and more. This update for Brutal Assault 25 (2022) - official event brings a great variety, so let's get straight to it!

The most honest hardcore from New York will come with SICK OF IT ALL. Next, let us welcome again VIO-LENCE - thrash cult from San Francisco and predecessors of Machine head, who'll play in the fortress for the first time. And they are not the only ones!
Same goes for crossover thrash pioneers D.R.I., Gothenburg's alternative and 'lost death metal souls' AVATAR, Swedish djent-core sensation AVIANA, Japanese metalcoreists SABLE HILLS and the quartet of brutal slamming deaths EXTERMINATION DISMEMBERMENT (Belarus), KORPSE (Holland), PATHOLOGY (USA) led by the pioneers themselves - DEVOURMENT!
Slowly wrapping this up, EVERGREEN TERRACE will return with their melodic hardcore with punk roots, and the absolutely unique VOIVOD will bring their excellent new album 'Synchro Anarchy'.

At the very end we also have some bad news - Bell Witch, EvilDead, Static-X and Tallah had to withdraw from the Brutal line-up.

New bands for Brutal Assault 2022: Amenra, Cradle of Filth, Decapitated, Extinction A.D., Humanity's Last Breath, Jinjer, Lorna Shore, Skywalker, Swallow the Sun, TesseracT a Unearth.

15 bands join our 25th edition line-up!

Welcome back the genre icons Paradise Lost, Cattle Decapitation and Alcest!
You can also be looking forward to an increasingly popular quartet Igorrr, Leprous, Benighted and Blood Incantation, the renewed thrashers EvilDead and classics Misery Index.
Lovers of underground and fast rhythms will appload the death metal duo Mass Infection and NunSlaughter, slower tempos will be brought by doomsters AHAB and Hangman's Chair, progressive metal is represented by URNE, and Tallah closes the list of the new fifteen additions with what could call nu core.

On a less positive note, Death By Stereo are taking a break this year and dropped from the line-up.

The wait is over! We are announcing the base of the line-up for JOSEFSTADT by Brutal Assault. Excited yet? We believe that your patience has been worth it! 😈
We are working hard to make the festival experience the best we can, however, in these times full of uncertainty many risks are involved. Therefore, we'd like to ask you to stay tolerant to potential changes. We have already sold 50 % of the limited capacity and would like to thank you for your support!

We're excited to see the outlook for the summer clearing up and so we can now confirm that the small version of Brutal Assault will take place just as last year! This year the event will take its name after Jozefov's original name - JOSEFSTADT. You can look forward to dozens of extreme bands, the same quality of service, and further exploration of the Josefov fortress and its genius loci in three days of August 12-14, 2021.
So do not forget to book this weekend in your calendars and let's enjoy Brutal Assault at least in its smaller version! Next year, hopefully, we will all meet without any restrictions.
