Jolly History: Ein Bild und seine Geschichte (Teil 1) :
Dieses Foto entstand am 27.Juni 2009 im Rahmen des "Dark Park Festival" in Ammerbuch bei Tübingen.
Ursprünglich sollte das Festival auf dem Killesberg in Stuttgart stattfinden. Was dann passierte mutet auch heute noch als unglaublich an. Ein fanatischer Hochwürden legte Protest bei der Stadt Stuttgart ein. Ein "Satanisten-Treffen" würde stattfinden, es gilt Kinder zu schützen und der Beweis liefert der Bandname des Headliners: UNHEILIG - damals noch vor ihrem Höhenflug !
Doch damit nicht genug: Die Stadt Stuttgart bekam tatsächlich kalte Füße und sagte dem Veranstalter ab !
Als Alternative fand sich ein Gelände in Ammerbuch, unweit von Tübingen. Doch eingeschüchtert durch den Hochwürden samt den Stuttgarter Verantwortlichen im Rathaus wagte der Veranstalter keine Webunge mehr aus Furcht, das Festival könnte wegen eines wirren hiesigen fanatischen Pfarrers erneut abgesagt werden !
So wurden Plakate und Werbung erst wenige Tage vor dem Festival offiziell.
Neben Unheilig spielten noch Project Pitchfork, Welle:Erdball, Battle Scream und Heavy Current.
Die Besucherzahlen blieben aus den genannten Gründen weit unter den Erwartungen und so kam es, dass ein einziger verstrahlter Hochwürden die Etablierung eines Stuttgarter Open Air Festivals zu verhindern wusste !
An die Aftershowparty habe ich nur noch ganz dunkle Erinnerungen, ich weiß nicht mal mehr, wo diese statt fand. Sie war auf jeden Fall ein Erfolg und ich legte u.a. mit DJ Dave, DJ Martin Sprissler, DJ Andi (Abby) und anderen Kollegen auf.

DJ Jolly von Hayde started his career in 1996 at Ludwigsburg in a small Irish Pub. One year later he took the chance to prove his skills at the just opened second floor at legandary Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg, the famous home of Bands like Motörhead, Nightwish, In Extremo etc. He was selected by several applicants and startet the “Dark Inside” Event on every friday with more and more success. Inspired by success, one year later he added the monday with the party “Back to the 80ies - we fade to grey”, long before the big 80ies Revival. Both parties still exist nowadays ! In 2001 he was one of the first DJ’s who decide to perform a “Depeche Mode Party”. Mozart, vocalist of Umbra et Imago and owner of the “Kulturruine” in Karlsruhe became aware of him and invited DJ Jolly to deejaying at Karlsruhe. In 1999 so he celebrated premiere at Kulturruine (today : CULTeum) and at least now his career got a run.
In the following years Jolly became a sought after DJ with gigs at Tübingen (Club 27), Stuttgart (Die Röhre), Augsburg (Rockfabrik) , Wiesbaden (Schlachthof) , Nuremburg (Cult), Karlsruhe (Nachtwerk) and many other countries in the South of Germany. In 2005 famous “DJ Dave” from “Stuttgart Schwarz” discovered DJ Jolly and took the chance to give him a chance at one of the floors at “Stuttgart Schwarz” Parties. Soon he got up to the main floor and became resident DJ. Those days DJ Jolly released with “Small for Date” his album “Labyrinth zum Abgrund” and was produced by Joelen Mingi (The Angina Pectoris).
In 2006 Jolly decided to try something totally crazy and q***r different from his work. So he formed the party “Gayties’n Eighties” for the q***r scene and q***r Clubs. He also succeed and became DJ gigs at King’s Club Stuttgart, “Buntes Rauschen” Karlsruhe , “Men Dance/ Woman Dance” at Braunschweig oder famous Sk8erboy-Party.
He also have been guest at middle age event “Veitstanz” at CULTeum Karlsruhe and an important part of “R[h]ein Schwarz”.
In 2015 he started also at the mainfloor of “Dark Visions”, Tübingen.
Also on Fetisch / SM Parties he was booked as DJ, for example by Fanoctibus, Port of Senses Karlsruhe or Unverschämt Stuttgart, Mottnic Stuttgart and created a fantastic soundtrack for those events.
In 2015 and 2016 he performed on Stage at the Open Air at Ludwigsburg Castle together with Bands like Eisbrecher, In Extremo, Saltatio Mortis and other Bands and more than 10.000 guests in the audience.
Several artists joined DJ gigs together with DJ Jolly, for example Ronan Harris (VNV Nation), Steve Naghavi (And One), Adrian Hates (Diary of Dreams), Felix Flaucher (Silke Bischoff), Alex Wesselsky (Eisbrecher), Oswald Henke (Goethes Erben), Darrin Huss (Psyche) or Eric Fish (Subway to Sally).
For “Subway to Sally” and “In Extremo” he was DJ at their aftershowpartys after their concerts.
In 2011 he formed the Party “This is Deutsch !” with huge success at Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg, followed by “Zeytreise”, “This music must be played loud” and “Rammstein vs. Eisbrecher”.
In 2017 DJ Jolly moved to Berlin and started “Schwarzes Berlin” at Zyankali Club & Bar. Soon he became a part of the “Transition Party” in Berlin at the legendary Silver Wings Club.
Three days before the final curtain of “Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg” fell, he celebratet a last big Farewell Party after 22 years deejaying at this legendary Club with many fans and supporters at overcrowded second stage there.
