Our first European tour is done!
We would like to give huge thank yous to everyone who helped us make this possible. Firstly, Norbert Strahl, for the offer to perform at Schwarzer Herbst, the rest of the tour would not have happened without that festival as our anchor, and it was an amazing time. In addition to Norbert we want to thank all his team, as everyone there was really great to the artists. Big thank yous also go out to Michael and Wenzel joining us.
In Poland, a big thank you to Kuba Cukier Podskarbi from Furda and Moriah Woods for concerts in Warsaw and Krakow, both very special in different ways, and bookending the tour.
Of course in France we say a hearty "merci" to Solventis. Sol, Melody, Sylvain, Clement, our time together was like an entirely different tour in itself, and indeed too short. I think we learned a lot from seeing your ways of doing things, and of course, from being taught the proper way to cut French cheese...
Vincent Glaume was an amazing host in Paris, and that show, which happened on Ian's birthday, was one of the favorites of the tour.
We would also like to thank Martin at House of Inkantation for opening a portal to the Black Lodge for us to play it, and also Hans and Nikki at A_Way for creating another very different magical free space in their home. In Hungary we had help from Blindblindblind Luspy, who we didn't get to meet because he was sick! (So, we'll be back some time to fix that). Stanislav Gubančok showed us famed Slavic hospitality in Slovakia and left us all wishing we'd had more time there in the mountains.
Now, most of us are back home, and we will take our time to recover from both the elation and exhaustion. It feels like the time is right to commence the recordings of what will become our next record.
We will see you live again in 2025. Things are already confirmed for some of our biggest appearances yet, and we look forward to sharing those with you later.
