But that's about to change: the La Cuerda Tango Marathon 2026 will once again take place on the last weekend of the lovely month of May: 29–31 May 2026.

🙏 Thank you for your support during a difficult time. As you saw, not many people cancelled after the last-minute venue change — so, the new venue was packed, and the vibe was something truly special.

From the sudden venue switch to the flexibility you showed around all the little quirks that came with it — you rolled with it all. Thank you.

❤️ We are deeply grateful to have shared this weekend with such a resilient and beautiful community.

Quick update from the La Cuerda team

Thank you all for the incredible positive energy — it seems like it worked miracles!

We want to keep you in the loop:
We’ve been working non-stop since the news — and we’re happy to let you know that things are looking very good!

There are several promising alternative locations in Frankfurt. At the moment, it looks like we may be able to host the marathon either in one new venue or across two complementary locations. We are feeling very confident and just need a little more time to confirm final details.

We hope you’ll bear with us just a little longer — we truly appreciate your patience and support!

📢 Important Update for the La Cuerda Tango Marathon

As many of you may have seen in the local La Cuerda Milonga group yesterday, we’ve had some unexpected news — our usual location has been shut down. Everyone has this one important question: What is happening with the marathon?

We know that many of you have already made travel plans and is looking forward to spend a wonderful weekend. We want you to know that we're doing everything we can to find an equally great alternative before giving up hope. Please allow us to rearrange and have an update for you within the next 48 hours. In the meanwhile, we have also sent out an email with some more information and a survery link to all participants. Please check also the spam or let us know if you have not received the email.
