dj , producer & drummer, one of the residents of the "It´s Grim Up North!" collective in hamburg, sankt pauli. renKen startet as a drummer in two hardcore / noise - bands in the 90´s, soon got himself 2 mk´s & a mixer and went from early 90´s hip hop to breakbeats and drum & bass in the mid to end 90´s golden age of metalheadz & ph

otek etc.. on to the straighter rhythms of early minimal , mostly british & some us techno, the basic channel - school of dub, original elektro ,("deep"/acid/chigago) house, idm, dubstep and some things around & beyond.
