Burn The Scene fest II is over and it was fantastic. We want to say a huge thank you to all guests, people who managed the wheel of fortune and the entrance, the great sound, the bingo players, people who donated stuff to the distro box and to the free bandshirt clothes rail. Of course thanks to Meißel Masada for their awesome shows.
Without all of you this wouldn't be possible ❤️

As almost a kind of burn the scene tradition, the wheel of fortune will of course not be missing this Saturday either. There will be buttons, magnets, patches, records, bags and other junk to win. And best of all: all profits will be donated to the Initiative gegen Rechts - Regensburg.

Wir kommen ins Fernsehen! 🤯

Vor wenigen Wochen hatten wir Besuch vom Bayerischen Rundfunk, da sich das Format "Wir in Bayern" in der morgigen Ausgabe auch mal für die DIY-Subkultur in unserem Lieblingsland Bayern interessiert.

Schaltet am Dienstag, 2. April um 9:10 Uhr (ja, leider vormittags) den BR live ein, denn soweit wir wissen, landet der Beitrag leider nicht in der Videothek.

A few weeks ago, we had a visit from Bayerischer Rundfunk, as tomorrow's edition of the "Wir in Bayern" format is finally also interested in the DIY subculture in our favorite state of Bavaria.

Tune in to BR live on Tuesday, April 2 at 9:10 a.m. (yes, unfortunately in the morning), because as far as we know, the report will unfortunately not end up in the video library.

The band Blink became Blink 182,
'The Polka Tulk Blues Band' became Black Sabbath,
and now Oma Oklahoma has become surreal fatal!

Does that mean we can now expect great things?
We can clearly assume it!

Surreal fatal from Hamburg ranging from emo to postish hardcore & punk. We're eager to listen to their first album which will be released under the new name sometime this year. But will they play this stuff already live at BTS II? Come and find out! 🔥

Moral Bombing – nordstadt emoviolence - straight out of dortmund is an energetic band with a raw, powerful and sometimes metallic sound. After their debut album „echo chamber“ and the EP „vicious cycle of cynical Coping“ the four piece realeased „erase your flash“ in 2023. This 6 songs ep is an emotive explosion. Moral Bombing will start a whirlwind in your head.

The Berlin based skramzers from Soastasphrenas are one of these likeable internationally conglomerated metropolitans and are having pretty much fun with touring as much as possible.
Their debut album from 2023 is a wonderful composition consisting of cozy transitions directly running over into total chaos and cathartic melodies. If you're smart, you'd better bring a bag with you that fits a 12" vinyl.

Jota is a quite new dark Post-HC band from Leipzig.
So far they have only 3 tracks available online, but these songs have it all. You can really notice Jota's band and songwriting experience, which the musicians have already proved in other bands like wrest and Fargo.

It will be driving, phat, dissonant and pretty dark. Feels like a knife in your ears. We are in such a mood for this!

TL;DR: short songs; clean vocals; emoviolence at it's best In 2022, out of nowhere, the debut emoviolence gem from Meißel was released - a band that nobody had heard of before. And we owe this to a special person: big thanks to the bassist of Lypurá! 'Cause whenever this busy sir couldn't make it to rehearsal, his two bandmates felt compelled to give free rein to their anger (at him) while writing these steamroller songs. Since this band was intended to be just a studio project, we are even more pleased that Meißel decided to play their second and at the same time maybe one of their last shows here at our small fest.
