When sourcing ingredients, we always try to support local small businesses and markets. For example, to get Italian products we often go to Olmo, an 🇮🇹 delicacies store in Kreuzberg.
Here we find premium pasta and canned tomato brands, as well as a variety of olives, cheeses and cold cuts.

Some of you started following our account recently and we’re very happy to have you here💕 As you most likely already know, one of our main services is a meal prep delivery.
🛍 This is how we pack and prepare your orders for the delivery. Each meal is individually packed in reusable containers (for subscription clients), numbered and we always include leaflet with heating and serving instructions.
📆 We offer delivery two days a week: our Mondays menu is always lactose and gluten free, on Wednesdays we offer options for vegetarian, omnivore and pescatarian clients. You can choose one of the days.
📲 On the delivery day, we will let you know in a message about the delivery time. Then our courier partners will bring you weekly meal prep packed in a reusable fabric bag and pick up empty containers and bags from previous deliveries.

You know of course that keeping food containers clean is very important for our health and allows to store food for a longer time. But do you know how to clean your containers properly?
Here are two tips:
1. Most containers, especially glass ones, have a rubber part that goes along the lid. And the trick is, this part is REMOVABLE! Wash it separately.
2. Include sanitizing. You can either dip your containers - all parts - into hot water (at least 75C for at least 30 seconds) after hand washing, or choose a dishwasher cycle with a final extended hot-water rinse that reaches 65C.

*recipe below*Black Garlic & Lentil Soup🧄🍵
This wonderful lentil soup recipe we found in the cook book by the once famous Michelin star Bar Tartine in San Francisco. Lentil soup is a great comforting autumn dish full of nutrients and black garlic gives it a unique flavour.
If like us you prefer eating vegan, follow our lead: instead of lard use extra oil (we used olive oil), and add vegetables, like potatoes and bell peppers instead of sausage. Below you will find the original recipe:

How-to:
1. Heat a large cast-iron frying pan over medium-high heat until a drop of water flicked on the surface sizzles. Melt lard in pan and add onion, bell peppers, and serrano. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are well charred on the edges but not blackened, about 15 minutes. Let cool, then chop coarsely.
2. In a blender, combine 2 cups broth, the black garlic, and árbol chiles. Purée until smooth.
3. In a large pot, combine the purée, remaining broth, tomatoes, lentils, garlic, mushrooms, and bay leaves. Bring almost to a simmer over medium heat, covered (do not let boil) for about 25 minutes. Add paprika, peppers, and charred vegetables and simmer gently, covered, until lentils begin to fall apart and thicken the soup, about 20 minutes more. Remove the bay leaves. Add vinegar and salt, and season with pepper.
4. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish each with sour cream, green onions, and cilantro. Leftover soup will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
