Spiritual Opera at the Dawn:

A new spiritual opera is coming into being: the story of Ibrahim, presented in an artistic way as an opera. Title: “Ibrahim/ Abraham the father of all – Discover what unites us in diversity!”

The American-Swiss composer Daniel Schnyder is known for a great variety in style. His work not only encompasses the classical tradition of music, but also Jazz and world music.

His libretto and composition link the ancient story of Abraham to the presentpolitical and social situation, and to religion in a globalized world.
