Nearing the final stages of the .carsharing project we have been following.

Another Cosplay shoot with at the castle park. I just love the row of trees for photos. No specific character, I think we
landed on “high fantasy goth”.
Basically raided our props and jewelry storage we have, one being a cool vintage umbrella.

Unfortunately due to the 4:5 crop, some of the images don’t have nearly the vibe they had originally.
Even after all these years I hate shooting for crop.

Also got to use the vintage Helios 44-2 again for part of the shoot, I just love that crazy Bokeh swirl it does. It’s very hard to focus handheld, but when shots are sharp where I want them..*chefs kiss*.

Warm and sunny evening in Waghäusel for .carsharing

We did ittle test shoot doing light painting with long exposures. Using a plastic bag to try to get a little bit more flowey light streaks.
Goal was to make a portal like doorway.
And combine several exposure images in photoshop. Still plenty of room for improvements.

Quick shot at In bruchsal for .carsharing at a school for a student workshop for alternative options for transportation.

Compared to the previous cosplay shoot, the character Mesmera the Archfey of Heartspire from is a dark and sad one.

Her wings and her house burned down by the princess of heartspires.
She became an Archfey after the Princess fled from her curse.
Reigning with a cape with two six finger shaped clasps; firmly on her shoulder. As if they are choking her at all times.

In the original plan for this shoot we wanted to show that crippling loneliness, sadness and the emotions Mesmera is feeling.
But afterwards the images Eve ended up doing where a different than what I commit to.
I wanted to crack up the emotions.
And chose to go B&W, desaturated for most of them.

Had the pleasure of finally finding a date to shoot with in her Keylith from Critical Role Campaign 1.
A few weeks back at , the rain came down harder then expected and we couldn’t get to get Keylith done.
But from this we knew we wanted to at least “create water” ourselves because the rain added a special vibe.

Ended up doing a fun minimal equipment shoot with friends ( & .cos cosplaying ‘Howl’s moving castle’ at Elfia in NL two weeks ago.

Got lucky with the weather as well, since it had been raining both days in the afternoon.

Final Fantasy X-2 was actually my first full gamer-girl play through! That was officially when I fell head-first down the nerdom rabbit hole!

Just a little throwback to DragonCon 2022! We are already counting down the days until we get to go back!
