Choco Loco alias Jovanni Cimino-Marin wurde im Dezember 1987 in Chile geboren . Mit 10 Jahren kam er nach Deutschland und konnte dort schon mit 14 Jahren seine ersten Musikalischen Erfahrungen mit Programmen wie EJAY machen. Seit dem hat er immer mehr das Interesse und das Gespür für Produktionen von elektronischer Musik mit digitalen , sowie analogen Geräten entwickelt. Er gründete 2
014 so sein erstes Label "Locotec Records" welches für die Musikrichtung und mit den Interpreten der Kategorie "Hardtechno" steht . In den letzten 2 Jahren hat er unter seinem DJ und Künstlernamen "Choco Loco" zahlreiche Releases über verschiedene Labels wie "Solide Groove Records" aus Amsterdam, erfolgreich herausgebracht. Unter diesen Releases konnte er auf Beatport in der Kategorie "Hardtechno" mit seinem Track " Deep in Black Forest " Wochenlang Platz 2 halten und wurde bei der Wahl der besten Künstler für 2015 auf Platz 8 gewählt. Da er zunehmend das Interesse für andere Musikrichtungen als Techno entwickelte und darin seine Fähigkeiten durch zahlreiche noch laufende Projekte und Produktionen mit den unterschiedlichsten Interpreten unter Beweis gestellt hat , hat er sich entschieden das Hauptlabel Choco Loco Beatz (CLB) zu gründen. Locotec Records soll sein Unterlabel bleiben und für die alleinige Produktion und Releases mit Interpreten von Hardtechno stehen. Choco Loco aka Jovanni Cimino-Marin was born 1987 in Chile. With an age of 14 he had started making his own beats by using tools like EJAY. Since then he has developed more and more the interest and flair for musical productions of electronic music with digital and analog devices. In 2014 he founded his own label called ”Locotec Records” which signifies the artist and the sound he likes the most “Hardtechno”. Over the last two years he had various successful releases in cooperation with labes like “Solide Groove Records” from Amsterdam. A great success he had with his track " Deep in Black Forest " In the category ”Hardtechno” securing a second place at Beatport over weeks. He was also ranked 8th in the category best artist in 2015. After various projects with different types of artists he decided to set up his main label “Choco Loco Beatz” (CLB). Choco Loco Beatz signifies exactly this. In the future ”Locotec Records” will remain to represent “Hardtechno” from Choco Loco and other Artist in this category.
