“We are deeply concerned about the rapidly escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Over 1.6 million people are displaced. Thousands of civilians are dead or injured. There is an urgent need to rebuild hospitals, water, sanitation, schools, housing and basic infrastructure to secure and protect civilians. There are acute shortages of basic necessities such as food, water and fuel.”
