Last year I opened up my studio for breastfeeding mini sessions and was blown away by how many amazing mommas wanted to come in for a shoot. This year I would like to do the same, however we are going to celebrate a week late as I messed up the dates in my calendar.

So in honor of National Breastfeeding Week I am offering moms:

A complimentary photo session of breastfeeding/skin time with baby
digital download of 1 image

Sessions will be next week August 7 - 11

For this offer you must be ok with me using the images for my social media/website/marketing. There is the option to buy more images than the 1 gifted, but no pressure or obligation to do so. From my shoot with Tinyreshopper! This campaign was so exciting for me to shoot as my two children were among the models. Which also made it 100% more stressful, but luckily all the kids did amazing and maybe even had some fun.

We did the shoot at Tinyreshoppers new retail location - Sønder Blvd. 39, kld. - so the aesthetic would match their brand. Working with brands is a passion of mine and I am excited to get back info more commercial work!

New year, new options. For motherhood and maternity sessions I have been experimenting with new settings and backdrops. My classic white backdrop is still in the mix, but now I'll also be offering a variety of looks.

Do you make new year resolutions? I’m not going to give up bread or drink less wine, but I am working on a list of goals/fun activities for the year. How I want to focus and grow my business, a few things just for me to improve my well-being, a list of dates I’d like to have with my husband and a few ideas for family experiences. A year is both a long time and a short time - for me making plans for things to look forward to helps to get through the tough days filled with piles of laundry, fighting kid’s and the endless todo list of being an adult.

I’d love to know what your goals for this next year are - little or big!

In between photo shoots I’ve been hosting events at the studio that foster connection and inspiration for female entrepreneurs, creatives and moms. Here is a little peak at my Coffee + Chat event that I hosted with Victoria Lutzhoft of Well Curated Wellness.

Family portraits in Nyhavn 🧡

Even on a dreary day Copenhagen makes the dreamiest backdrop for photos. With the studio temporarily closed for renovation I took the opportunity to test out some ideas I had for family photos in the city. I wanted to create photos that felt like a magazine editorial or an old postcard - something both chic and with a little grit to it. What do you think?

My family sessions are not your traditional studio experience. While the setting might be staged, the vibe is fun and carefree. Little kids often don’t sit still so embracing their energy and participating in their joyful play is a way to get great photos that show genuine emotion. If your session feels a bit chaotic and like a workout - then we are on track for getting great photos!

Printed photos, a photo calendar or even a mug or tote bag with your sweet faces on it make great gifts for the parents, grandparents and other loved ones who might enjoy seeing your smiling faces more often. I used to wonder who ordered all those random photo products that you can buy nowadays... turns out it’s me!
